It's unfair to assume everyone can evacuate easily. Some people face financial, health, or logistical barriers. Empathy and understanding are essential in such situations.
"First: Anyone who is in the middle of this storm will die. Second: Rob, we're sending you into the middle of this storm to report on it." Someone give this poor guy a raise.
The middle of the storm is literally the definition of safe. It's called the eye of the hurricane. He'll be fine. These people have no idea what they are talking about. They are just a bunch of non-scientist news people who need a job trying to inform the public about what they think they know or what they were told.
I've been following this from Australia and my heart goes out to all the people effected by these horrendous hurricanes and these tornadoes. An absolute devastating time for you all! Mother nature can be so very cruel!
Most Republicans in Florida think this is a Hoax. You should’ve feel bad. They were told to leave but chose to stay there. I am sure their cult leader TrumPet will come to save them 😂😂
@@Dim-yz6wk thank you. I’m in tears that someone else feels same as me. The people in nursing homes and assisted living can’t evacuate or do anything for themselves and often the caregivers abandon them. One year here in Miami, the staff just left and all the old people died. Sigh. I can’t even think about how they helpless they must have felt….
Being a reporter and having to go to these dangerous places shows how much you love your job. Stay safe everyone and my heart and prayers go out to every single soul affected by this horrific hurricane.
Gainesville here. My auntie evacuated here from Port Charlotte. We don't know if the home she bought to retire in is gone. She worked her whole life when she was finally able to retire at sixty-nine years old. She purchased her dream home in Port Charlotte in 2018, and now we don't know if it's gone. 😢 She is in Gainesville with me. At least she's safe.
There is only one Lord. If there were 2...than the people didn't protect themselves (= believe in the one that provides Love) enough....I don't believe that... I believe there is only 1...And that Lord knows why he creates these situations. That is faith.
This is so sad. I'm quite a distance as I'm in Wyoming but praying for all in Florida who has no escape. R.I.P to all whose lives have been taken so tragically. Praying everyone stays safe!
Earlier there was random huge tornadoes that came down out of no where and torn through the east side of Florida opposite of the hurricane which is hitting the west coast
@@denisemanfre9542 I have fond childhood memories of North Wales, my sons name is Thomas Morgan. I've been wanting to go to Canada for a holiday before I get anymore health problems. My dad went to Canada over 20 years ago and loved it ❤
It was definitely a tornado in Spanish Lakes that caused fatalities. We had, the last count I saw, 13 tornadoes in 3 and 1/2 hours between Martin, St Lucie, and Indian River Counties plus a water spout in Jensen Beach
It did this about six years ago and it stayed out for a while then quietly came back in. People walked on it it was weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. There’s nothing driving it now. Hopefully it’ll do as before. Weird phenomenon. But so glad for Tampa.
I don’t live anywhere near Florida but this especially hits home as I have a lot of friends and family in Tampa. I’ve been to Tampa eight times, almost every summer since I was 7. It’s like my second home. Prayers from Sacramento CA 🙏
I am praying 🙏🏻 for everyone and animals that is in the path of Storm / Hurricane Milton and that everyone is set and ready and prepared for this storm / Hurricane Milton 🌀 And I am praying 🙏🏻 for everyone and animals to stay safe 🙏🏻
I had a dream about this happening last year but I was experiencing it as if I was there in my dream. I recall being trapped floating on top of a floating mattress. These images are bringing back flashbacks of my dream. 😮
I’m in the Tampa Bay Area and the winds just started dying down! We finally lost power around 11:15pm (lights kept flickering and going off for a while). The wind was so bad it was pushing rain through my closed window into my bedroom! Sounded like a train, just relentless. So glad it’s over and I can finally go to bed 🙏 R.I.P to the people who lost their lives 😢
I want to thank all the people from other countries for their concern and prayers. It means a lot. Shows how Americans well being are loved from all around.
There’s many reasons why some can’t. Like not everyone can afford it, hotels are booked, hardly any gas, some might not have cars, some have no where to go etc… it’s sad
Out of curiosity, what are you doing in Antartica? My husband landed a contract there in communications a few years back. He opted for heat instead and went to the Middle East for work. 😂
It’s not really the category that matters the most it’s if it spawns a lot of tornadoes and or moves slowly because that causes a lot of flooding. A slow moving Cat 3 that spawns tornadoes is very very bad.
@@Chimichanga1986 ya but imagine a cat 5 moving slow as well. This is cat 3 moving slow but in the end it won't take down most things built with concrete unless they are old or unproperly built. A cat 5 will take down lots of concrete structures or severely damage them.
