You and Chase have the moving of furniture down to a science😂😂, the blue pieces of tape definitely would drive you crazy. I think painting the room Iron Ore will make the movie room look like a theater. George having his own reserved seat is way too cute❤❤ remember when you tried at least 2 different sofas and you hated them after awhile because y’all like to lounge on the sofa as a family😂

We used Iron Ore on the exterior trim of a home we flipped and it turned out amazing. It’s a beautiful grayish black color. It’s just gorgeous. Looks great in the movie room!! Team movie chairs!

OMG that's my world being realized right now. We've wanted to paint everything since day one moving into this home but remodeling the kitchen, fireplace, master bathroom all took precedence a year ago. Now, we need paint including ceilings with 4 dogs ahhhh! I like the idea of the sectional in the movie room but curious on it being white with kids/sleepovers. I personally like the two chairs facing the tv with the two couches across from each other but, not sure when you walk into your home what you see and how that feels from watching the video. Ashley I must be your long lost sister because girl I am the same way! 😩 I hate when the house is in disarray! In our other homes I loved color but in our new build I am all about neutrals! Excited to see what y’all come up with. If I had another space to watch TV, movies, etc. I would totally do the two sofas in the main area. If it was my only TV viewing space, I’d stick with a sectional. My preference obviously.

Hi Ashley! I love your house so much! Question for you, has any of the paint on your cabinets chipped where the frame around the door edges meet? I had my kitchen redone about 7 months ago and some of the paint on my cabinets have cracked at the seam.

Thank you so much! Yes, all that blue tape you see was for those seams where the frame of door meets the panel and it’s common for it to crack over time as it acclimates to the air inside and house settling if new. You can do some light caulking on it and then paint over it to make it seamless again.

We have iron oar on our living room wall and it looks 90-98% black in our place becuse we have limited lighting. I definitely think it depends on the lighting.

Ashley those beams will not fall down on you guy's? I'm worried if they don't put them up properly that they can fall on you when you guy's are on the sofa !! I hope they did a good job on them I don't like that feeling that you can see those cracks up there ! I'm sure they know what they are doing! Ashley for the mo ie room it looks great that color as for a sectional I don't know I like the leather sofas but it's personal decision whatever you decide I'm sure it will be beautiful ! The living room does not look bad but it looks better with the sectional just my opinion but again it's your home you have yo live with it! Love your Channel ❤ I painted my Movie Lounge Sherwin Williams Urban bronze and I love it. I totally think you should get rid of the movie room Recliners They are not your style and they are dated. Totally add the Sectional. I have purchased several things you have recommended. My favorite is a Faux Fur Comforter a Pottery Barn dupe from Costco. We are painting our movie room Urbane Bronze as well. Sectionals definitely look nicer, but I love the recliners because they recline, have cup holders. Ours are heated and have massagers.

Iron ore is a good choice for a home theater due to light reflection. Have you ever talked about a projector versus the small Tv? Haven’t finished the video so maybe you will.

It’s a lot more expensive to add electric for projector and the projector itself, along with the ceiling fan being right in the way. The TV is a great size in there, the wall is huge so makes the tv look smaller maybe but it’s actually a 75” and any bigger and it would be way too much for people sitting on front row. No one that had been in there in person has said tv is too small, I think it’s just an on camera thing. Thanks for watching
