It involved a discussion between Clinical Professor Allan Kermode, Head, Demyelinating Diseases Research and Consultant Neurologist at the Perron Institute, and local Perth media presenter, Tina Altieri regarding the latest multiple sclerosis (MS) research and treatments. Webinar viewers were given the opportunity to participate in participate in a Live Q&A and send in their questions to be answered. Professor Kermode is also Clinical Professor of Neurology at The University of Western Australia, and Head of the Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He sees patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), manages a research team investigating causes of MS, and is Professor of Immunology at the Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (IIID) based at Murdoch University, where he also conducts MS clinics.
