How are those larger rings attached there to the rope part of the saver? If I understood what I was seeing here correctly - it seems like the two larger rings' end is put through the bight of the saver that's just been put around the stem, and then it's effectively turned into a not-quite-a-cow-hitch when the two larger rings' end is poked through the bight.

Redirect retrieval is obviously not on point yet, but I like the options.

Please make a tutorial on how to make dead rope eyes.
