I feel like his attacks aside from neutral attacks don't deal a lot of knock back making it hard to kill sometimes

Little tip: you can even extend the range of the neutral special of you hit an ally first

At high percent, if you do his autocombo on a ledge it will throw the opponent down. Like you are on the right ledge, looking in the left direction, doing the fA autocombo towards the left, Adam will throw the opponent on the right into the lower part of the map. A nice finisher would be a combo with fS to go through the opponent and be up the ledge, then the projectile hits, and you do the fA combo towards the left and Adam throw the opponent directly out in the lower bound.

How do you use neutral special in the air to activate magnet

Use your "special" button in the air (mine is triangle on Playstation) and use it without a movement input (like up, down, or side) and just press it without moving.

He feels weak he need better kill punch or armor when he hits, because he is slow and his lightnig attack are slow and weak too thats not good.

I think he is a high risk high reward character, he is dangerous when he has all his weapons, and have to flee when he lacks his utilities. I use his grounded dS a lot on the ledge, and use the autocombo to throw them down. Then edge gard with a.DS, NS, or charged DA. He has good vertical ejection too.
