Thing of note about Ritual who played Wonder Woman they only have like a day worth of playtime so they are gonna get better. No need to bombard them in the comments.
@@Ceeple I don't follow? Only way to learn is by playing. Losing is just an opportunity to learn especially against one of the best players in the game right now. We are here to get better not keep people out cause they aren't good yet.
@@Ceeple I mean if you don't show up then how will you learn. Just because you aren't the best doesn't mean you shouldn't at least try. Also playing in locals is a fun experience where you meet alot of people to. Plenty of positives you just showing up even if you aren't fully prepared yet.
@@AJAXHQ I'd figure the best way to promote yourself, and perhaps your capabilities, would start at taking forms of competitive play seriously - but not everyone I suppose lives or plays ideally, do they?
Are these usually side tourneys at smash event venues? Is there a discord or FB page for multiversus LAN events? I'm in the Seattle area and am disconnected from our Smash and Street Fighter community.
Ritual outclasses here. In his defense it seems harder to get Wonder Woman combos going. However I hardly saw any ground forward attacks into up attacks. Seems like a missed opportunity. Also put himself on the edge way too many times with no plan.
Learning the game rn. (See Ajax’s comment for more details) think defense is important, I couldn’t find the combos because I don’t know them 😂. Gonna use these notes to get better though!
@@ritualssb no doubt. I wanna also say some characters make you work harder for combos and damage according to the class. A new Wonder Woman vs a new Morty seems like a mismatch from the jump. I main Wonder Woman too, but I struggle against some bruisers and feel like the bruiser archetype is easier to pick up and out damage her in general. We'll get it man lol.
To all people who play a good morty, stop giving them space, if you play passive aggressive on a morty your literally giving them control of the entire stage. Morty attacks slower than most in my opinion and if your aggressive you dont give them time to use grenades properly.
Wonder Woman and combo game in one sentence is more or less an off season april fools joke. You can chase across the map pretty well on her but these aren't true combos for the most part, let's be real.
All she has is a poke and it does no damage, but she still outperforms. Her biggest drawback is that she wants to continuously press buttons, but has to be patient and time her shots. The best buff I could give her is to make her down+normal attack charge up on button mash in addition to button hold. That way you don’t have to commit so hard to doing her down+normal, and it doesn’t throw off your timing when you wanna remain flexible. I don’t even care if isn’t cancellable, as long as I can hold AND tap down+normal to charge it up would make her feel way more complete.
I’d love to see every single next character that’s released be expert level and have a lot of intricate mechanics like Morty!! PLEASE haha I hope they do this with Stripe
Am i the only one who is against complicated characters? It's ok to have expert characters, but filling the game with expert characters just makes it less fun to casual players. With expert characters game is only fun to people who are willing to tryhard and spend alot of time on it. I don't like the idea of some characters being stronger just because they are harder to play, sadly it looks like multiversus already took that route. Tom and jerry for example, it's hard to play, but it is so fucking unfun and insufferable to play against good tnj with all the projectile spams, it makes the game less enjoyable, i don't want every new character to be just another version of tom and jerry.
@@Mark-sz7nd game has no mmr yet, matchmaking just matches people of similar ranks most of the time. Even when ranked comes out, there will be dedicated tom and jerry players in every elo, not only in top 1% of players, and they will get annoying and insufferable, that's what happens with hard characters in every game, once people master them they are just unfair to play against.
@@stargazing209 "dedicated tom an jerrys in every rank".... right but they will still be the same skill leve as the people in their given ranks.... a silver tom and jerry isnt going to dominate say a silver jake.... if that was the case the tom and jerry player wouldnt be in silver...
@@Kastafore They even recognize this and decided to balance it with crazy move staling (decay). Not the way I would have gone about it. Not to mention the knockback scaling is so low and recovering is so easy. This game is just two balloons flailing around each other
