"From the old days" I know Dexter has crossed over with the PPG before in small cameos so I'm gonna believe this is a nod to Punchtime Explosion or Fusionfall.
Its that and the fact most of these old days cartoons exist on the same earth. Mostly going by CN cartoon specials where we see them mention each other or show each other mainly the Billy and Mandy/ KND crossover.
@@dougtheghoul2845 i pray that one day this game finds way to implement CN City. It could be used as a new hub or lobby for players to walk around in, similar to how Tekken 8 has a chibi-fighter section where you can find fights. They do have the "MULTIVERSUS" hollywood sign in the promo art, so I hope they at least make a new home similar to the city.
I never thought I'd hear Tara Strong say any of the legendary lines from the OG series like "I'm gonna be the prettiest girl at the party!" or "I'm HARDCOOORE". I love it and I am definitely gonna be getting the game and play as the girls!
what won me was the line blossom said about feeling sorry for rainbow the clown. Ah vindication. To be fair it's been a long time since i watched the ep with grown eyes sooo who knows what i think now.
@@Silent_BG_Chara Yeah, that too. Also, I know it's most likely noticeable, but Buttercup sounds a little bit deeper now, or is it just me? Bubbles sounds the exact same, though. Either way, I just love hearing the OG voice actors coming back to do the voices of the girls!
I love the fact that this confirms that every crossover that's ever happened is almost always Canon which makes me fall in love with the idea that multiversus is kind of like a second coming of Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL which I love that game so much and to know that a lot of those characters are coming back into this game is really cool.
Exactly these kind of things annoy me because people expect actors to sound the same 30 years later "We want the original actors back!" "Wait that's not them they sound old now!" 🤦♂
@@dragonball4ever2009 Same reaction I felt when fans were talking shit about some of the remaining X-Men voices (mainly Rogue and Wolverine), it honestly pissed me off when they were insulting them because of their age. In my opinion, I thought they sounded great years later.
@@dragonball4ever2009 Those people annoy me too. Like, voice actors are people too and they also get old like the rest of us; you can't expect them to sound EXTREMELY young like they used to. Be grateful they at least tried their best to sound young🤦🏾♀️😒
Hopefully when we see the Rowdyruff Boys as variants, Rob Paulsen can reprise his role as Brick and Boomer since the guy voices Mojo Jojo also voices Butch. But overall it's nice to have original voice actresses for the PPG reprise their roles, and Blossom and Buttercup's especially Blossom's voice actress sounds older to but good nonetheless.
Both Roger L. Jackson and Rob Paulsen (who've I met 4 times at cons btw), voiced all the Rowdyruff Boys. Paulsen would eventually be in this game to voice the two, especially since they'll soon b adding the Warner siblings from Animaniacs, Yakko Wakko and Dot. Jackson (Mojo) and Matthew Lillard (Shaggy) reuniting in this game long after Scream.

Sounds they'll be a Pokemon Trainer situation except they'll all fly in a formation at all times and while you control one, the other two stay in the background but still fly with the one you're using. And they'll share a percentage and if the one you're using gets KOed, the other two automatically get KOed too.
Also judging by the “Good Morning”, “Merry Christmas”, and “Happy Birthday” voice lines I feel like we’re going to get event voice lines. It’s pretty damn cool.
I feel like with all of the original voice actresses coming back in this game, merchandise and 25th Anniversary based on the original PPG, I feel like this is Cartoon Networks way of apologizing to the fans of the original show for the 2016 reboot they made.
It's nice hearing the original voices of the girls. And boy, has it been so long, you can hear Blossom's voice is more deeper since the last time Cathy Cavadini voiced her, as is E.G. Daily now sounder raspier as Buttercup. At least Tara Strong still gives the same range as Bubbles after 10 years compared to Cathy and E.G.
Was legitimately surprised they were able to get the original VA's for the PPG back, especially since how the reboot PPG were used in LEGO Dimensions, great to see the OG PPG back!
At first I thought they were gonna hire Amanda Leighton, Kristen Li and Natalie Palamides to voice the Powerpuff Girls, but now, I heard Cathy Cavadini, Tara Strong and E.G. Daily as the TRUE Powerpuff Girls, and I cried tears of happiness upon hearing them again. *THE POWERPUFF GIRLS ARE REBORN!* 💙💗💚
Because the Townsville stage is straight from the old show and not the new one. So yea, glad to see the original actresses return for this while Tara is still Harley in Multiversus and Cavadini is also the Wicked Witch.
I wonder if Courage the cowardly dog will show up, despite the fact that Marty Grabstein (his voice actor) recently had a mild stroke that affected his speech.
I just noticed they are trying to sound like how they did in 1998. Blossom sounds like a combination of her 1998 voice with her Danced pantsed voice, Bubbles still sounds the same, and Buttercup sounds the same when talking calm, but when screaming she has more of a raspy voice than she did in 1998. I don't really care if their voices sound different, as long as their performance is still the same, everything will be fine.
Tara Stong sounds like she hasn’t missed a beat voicing Bubbles but I guess it makes sense my guess unlike Buttercup and Blossom voice actresses she been doing a lot of VA work over the pass two decades. But Blossom voice actress gotten much better as you hear more of her lines
Also Also the head director of the game said they would most likely all share one character slot and in the joker trailer there profile pic is just “The power puff girls” basically confirming that it will be a 3 in 1.
I gotta say.... It's FANTASTIC!! It really brings me joy that they brought back the original three voice actresses for their respective roles! Long live the Powerpuff Girls! I'm just so happy 😁😁💕💕😊😊
Well it’s been years since they voiced the PPG so of course they would sound older but I think as they go through the lines you can tell they gotten back into the groove of things and they sound like how they sound all those years ago
Judging by the voicelines, im guessing the powerpuff girls are going to kind of a stance character where you switch between the girl's kind of like Pokémon trainer, but if they do go down this route i wonder how they would make them play differently since their movesets are pretty similar
nice that they reference there crossover comics with jack and dexter along with the other cartoon network crossover games so this is old timeline ppgs man they put so much love in this game no matter how it ends up being the fact we have onteractions like this is dope to the max i so hops ben 10 shows up somehow lol
The commercials aren’t canon material for the main series, the same way most pilots for shows to be green-lit aren’t. Even the show runners confirmed they were only cameos that didn’t hint at an extended universe. Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and the CN commercials were a marketing ploy. Nothing more.

I can either see them as a 3 person ice climbers or a pokemon trainer where they all do 3 different things and have 3 different stats(hitbox,speed,framedata,killpower)

The Powerpuff girls are going to be the pokemon trainer of Multiversus. I think that's a waste as they only have like 1 unique power each and then sharing powers between them? Ed Edd n Eddy would have been more suitable as the pokemon trainer style gameplay
Because these girls have a tag out tag in gameplay mechanic, i hope the other powerpuff girls are still around while you fight possibly hovering around the main player, i'd like to see all 3 powerpuff girls together even when the other 2 are inactive. Shame we didn't get them for S2 :( probably wont get them for S3 either as that's halloween shoulda saved Jason for then and gave us PPGs for S1 :(
Daffy Duck has not been added to Multiversus yet. I wish he has since we only got three Looney Tunes characters in the game's roster and the Space Jam: New Legacy court is their only stage and for LeBron James.
So are they gonna be one character in a way similar to Pyra and Mythra and the angry beavers or they're gonna be separate characters like the ice climbers?
It's datamined info. There's no schedule with it, it's just data in the game. Technically speaking, they could never be released, although in this case, they are teased in the Joker's video as a fighter, so I'd expect them sooner as opposed to later.
