I've never seen someone underrate Reindog so hard. Have you seen Retrowolf play in 1v1? He recently won a 1v1 tournament! Reindog has so much more than just the edge gaurd he has (and can still do btw, it's just slightly harder). Ultimately though I don't mind too much. Either Reindog is actually good and you are mistaken, or I'm goated for reaching top 35 1v1 as the worst 1v1 character in the game lol But regardless, I agree with most things you said! Nice video!

Harley was my first character to main cuz she was easy to learn and I was winning a lot. And then I kept winning and found that it didn’t take that much skill to be good with her. I now haven’t touched her since realizing that and have been waiting for her to be nerfed so that it’s no longer possible for noobs to pick her up and win. Her combos are too easy to land with the combined factor of her easy to use ultra kill move: the hammer Started out as a Harley main, ended up as a Harley hater

First time seeing one of your videos, I really liked it! Super in-depth review of every char by someone who has experience with playing every one of them on a high level. Earned yourself a new subscriber. And btw, I really don't understand why they haven't nerfed Harley yet. I am a top 1000 jake main and I feel like every 3rd match is a Harley and it is sooooo annoying playing against her.

I keep wondering why doesn't arya's up special vertical distance travel scales with dmg ( i mean that maybe be like being a lot sorter at lower percents and eventually change to the distance we have now at 70-90ish persents )it will allow them to make the follow up 100% persistent without letting it ko at like 5%

hey Slush if taz is so good what perks does he use against Arya and other characters that don't have ranged attack in 1v1

personally I have only one problem with stripes gun and its that it does not count as a projectile, I play iron giant and my one move that gives me a chance to get on the stage without getting edge guarded by projectiles is completely negated by that gun, so its frustrating when my projectile blocking move does not protect me from his gunshots

I've be playing Taz cuz I wanted to get everyone's profile icon and I've been having Hella fun it's crazy tbh he's actually pretty good so I feel on people sleeping on him his spin still annoying to fight 😤 but he's got this glitch where if u spike near the ledge u can just float infinly and just ledge guard forever with down attack lol 😆 try it I can do it pretty consistently

I know you really liked stripe so I'd reccomend trying him in teams because I consistently pump out 380-400+ damage with usually 2-3 ring outs, hes dumb good in teams! (Top 800 stripe main)

i feel like rein dog was a bit too low because i think his spike is a bit op kinda if you play vs one the spike does like 27 damage on hit

I remember that I used to have a rlly bad Lebron up until like level 6 just to get the gold, but after that I started destroying people with Lebron after wards. I have a level 16 Lebron now and the combos I can pull of are pretty insane. Playing Black Adam kinda feels like playing Lebron at the moment and both are really fun in my opinion. TLDR: Once you get to a certain point with Lebron, you always win and Black Adam feels kinda like Lebron to play as.

Either remove the armor mechanic entirely or make sure every character has a built in armor break move. I shouldn't have to use a perk slot countering a broken mechanic that isn't fun by any stretch of imagination

Hammer Morty is also a kill move, up air also isn’t half bad

I still think Stripe is strong, tbh. They needed his gun but I was using cooldown reduction perks to maximize it anyways, and his forward air is more honest but it’s still a fantastic jump in. He’s also got what I feel is an under-explored diversity with his tools like chainsaw (edge guarding) and dynamite (funny high mobility set ups and recovery.) His down air is like a worse version of Morty’s which is still a ton of privilege for a down air, and his up air can be charged so you can time for sharking. I could go on but I hope I’ve made my case why he’s a solid pick

As a bugs bunny main i wanted to say there was a counter play for the iron giant grab combo If you waited untile he bring you to the ledge and he sit on you before he come down i had to place a rocket and i could get out most of the times

I agree, stripe got gutted and he was my favourite new character. Also Shaggy received quite a hefty nerf recently, having it so you cant throw the super sandwich and still be in charged mode has really affected how I zone with the sandwich for kills. Happy with Taz atm though

Bro the problem with black Adam is that you have almost no chance to true combo or even combo string with him. When you approach someone, the only move you can do is the big clap but that has such a big ‘charge up time’. I feel like if someone is in your face all the time, there is not much you can do. And again you hit someone, they get knocked back, they come back in your face, after getting hit for 10 times, again you hit someone they get knocked back, they come back in your face. Its so annoying

ive been playing stripe since i picked the game back up and everytime i win against another person on xbox they tell me i’m trash for using an op character😢. Same thing happens to me when i play morty. it’s always the wonder woman’s and superman’s that say shit like that too

I lose 99% of my games against Aria, I find her wayyy more challenging than every other character. Any advice for how to face her? I sorta assumed everyone struggled against her, but since others don't rank her as S tier, I must just be doing something wrong. (For context, I'm a Jake main who recently got to top 20K in 1v1s / top 1.7K Jake, but usually I'm top 5K jake.)

They finally killed arya's dagger reset combo. I abused it a lot, but I knew it had to go. I'm hoping they can finally fix her now that the most broken tech she had is gone.

Idk if you know this but tnj recently got a shadow nerf paddle into down air is now inconsistent Jerry loop has been removed paddle into up air also made inconsistent this is not really noticeable but slight nerf to side attack into pan it's less consistent overall they made his kit not really confirm and it feels bad hope you see this

Gizmo has a very specific way you have to play him which can be complicated and annoying if you like rushing people down.

Black adam is A tier his move kit it made for 2v2 hes constant threat in 2v2 his ground pound makes him a threat at all times to me he's a Peekaboo fighter get in get out style

I personally enjoy Garnet for her kit. She's not cheesy like everybody besides her armor. I win sometimes but majority of the time I lose. My toughest match ups are shaggy, harley, arya, superman, gizmo, and finn. I'm struggling getting hits off the people that dodge excessively, especially for movement. I don't feel like I can get away with dodge spamming with Garnet so I take my time. Still tho, I'm learning Garnet can be seen as trash or the player can make her look strong. But I feel like this about it: garnet isn't complete trash. But in higher ranks, she almost feels too slow. Its either I can master her timing and be 10 steps ahead of my opponent or its another futile attempt to make my favorite character look god like. And I will admit that there is a skill issue XD

Superman is extremely good when you know how to cheese with him and it is so easy. Almost beat a top 100 in the world Superman with my lvl 6 Superman. Just by copying them. Also you can still do OP cheese with Iron Giant they just got rid of his infinites

I think a bigger issue than stripes gun was the hits he could get. So of his lunges would get me so early but that was also probably a server thing like you said. Still tho he was infuriating and I’d be content never seeing him in the meta again

Gotta say, I agree with most of the placements on this tier list! The only placement I cant really get with is Black Adam being B. Id honestly put him at around mid to low A tier instead of where you put him for a couple reasons. His zoning tools like his grounded and aerial side special can help you escape a lot of combos, grabs, and potential spikes if you place them at just the right time. If you manage to master or at least get to an above average level with his combo game, you can net a free 0-80% or more. His jab 1 is cancelable into almost any other move hes got, and his grounded up attack (the shazam lightning) can snipe opponents at some surprisingly low precents if their close enough to the top of the blast zone! His grounded down attack also kind of changes one of the core mechanics of the game (wall clinging) since if you get caught lacking or forget hes got that move, it could be a quick stock taken. Its like hes the platform fighter version of Magneto from MVC2. Hes also definitely got a somewhat high skill ceiling, but so far ive been able to grasp his playstyle quicker and faster than other characters with high skill ceilings like Morty. Though some of his moves could use a bit of a buff like the chain lightning being visible like Supermans sniper punch or Ricks portal gun; and with the lightning in the middle of his chain lightning doing chip damage. Amazing vid as always though man

Word from a Reindog main here: They did l nerf his meteor spamming which weakened his edgeguard, but even worse was the changes to jab and dair means his loop is no longer true. Without loop or edgeguard, Reindog is in a next to unplayable state right now. Hopefully we’ll see some buffs next patch.

I definitely agree w/ 98% of this list except o feel T&J got hit so hard and never recovered from it. They took away hid 1 bread and butter dair to jerry combo and now made it where the Jerry pick up is very hit and miss; not consistent at all. Then Jerry’s rocket gets killed so easily.

ehhhhhhhhh. I'd say they didnt really do anything to iron giant tbh, what i did was i would grab an opponent, jump off the edge, use down air and down special, dodge out of down special when i hit the opponent and got back on stage, with a stock taken. i did this after the patch again and again but it didnt seem to change anything? Iron giant is still b tier though, he's not good even though he's my main 💀

I completely agree with this list but I think Lebrun should be at the start of B he can be very annoying to fight even bad ones I haven’t played any iron giants yet either and yeah I completely agree with black Adam he has a bad neutral game and a lot of his stuff is hard to hit and doesn’t really set him up for follow ups well like most other characters. He very slow and he just doesn’t have a game plan. I wish they didn’t over complicate him and try to make him as far from op as possible i feel like after stripe they were scared I still don’t understand why stripe was nerfed in the way he was and how quickly they do it but then you have Harley actually getting a speed buff and an assassin buff in the same patch despite being OP

Love tier lists. For everyone watching please remember tier lists are not gospel. Even if its accurate, character loyalty will carry you so much further than chasing top tier characters. Look up Rangchu winning Tekken World Tournament with "trash" tier character. Was it harder to play with, absolutely, and you can see it in the match, but his character loyalty shines.

S tier Harley Jake Morty Batman A tier Wonder woman Taz Finn(his moves don't work half the time so he's not completely s tier) Bugs Arya Steven Shaggy Tom and jerry Lebron(debatable) Superman B tier(Depends on player) Black adam(u need to know what ur doing if u know what ur doing bottom A) Stripe Gizmo Reindog Velma Garnet Iron giant

I still play stripe and he's exactly where he needs to be, as he's no longer super-powered but still has an excellent kit for the right aggressively creative player. The gun honestly downplayed most of his utilities as it outshined them greatly

All Arya’s upspecial problems can be solved by literally just playing her. There is a follow up for most DI. Once you get the feel for it you can do 80 dmg combos off walls easily.

As a tom and jerry main life's tough, a rushdown meta and everybody has the ability to just pick a perk and make 80% of your kit ass

While I agree with your opinions on batman I just thought your statement on how he is a shaggy with a bat er rang just seemed so off to me, shaggy is is the most basic platform fighter in terms of moves he has all pretty much all the standard moves, the uppercut the side slam the pick up an item you can throw (I would say the counter would have been the better choice but oh well ) and then all the basic air moves, combos smashes, his only somewhat unique move is his charge up as usually some projectile move goes there all this doesn't make him bad at all by the way just that I feel batman plays way different but didn't disagree with anything else you said

i feel like your underestimating black adam, when you try to pick him up he feels slow and weird, and combos seem impossible, but when you are decent the combos reveal themselves mid-gameplay, leading to alot of creative kills like launching someone upwards with your down ground and than leaping at them with side air

i think black adam is much better than you think his shield tanks even heavy projectiles his attacks and movement is difficult but when people start learning him he will be really though to play against and this down normal is just insane

I think you’re wrong about stripe. His gun was the lamest ability I’ve ever experienced. You didn’t have to try at all as stripe. You rely on that gun and it’s one of the most punishing abilities the game has to offer. He takes you out of moves and kills your recovery like no other character could. I’m glad they gutted him

LeBron is cracked. He’s just rly weird to play and complicated combos. But he’s got great weight too. I’d say he’s high A. Have you seen good LeBrons?! Check ladder too, he’s doing great on ladder. Also iron giant in top Lobbies do rly well. Because of cheese OBVIOUSLY. But if u take into account Superman’s cheese, gotta take in iron giant’s. He still has cheese after nerfs. After nerfs I think he’s still good without the grab loop. Id say he’s atleast B tier.

If you can do the tier list not in order that would be better. Takes away the fun of it. Just randomly pick a character and place them . Don’t start on top or bottom. Start in the middle and then switch it up top bottom top top, middle, etc.. like I said pretty boring when it’s in order from top down and vice versa
