Mumtaz ji, this is one of your most extraordinary interviews. Our family and many friends, especially our dear friend, Dr. Sharad Kumar Dicksheet, was you ultimate fan back in the 70s. Because of him, I was introduced to knowing all about you while growing up as a kid in America. My personal all-time favourite producer/director has been the legendary Feroz Khan, and I was so happy when I learnt that Fardeen and Natasha were getting married. You were so beautiful in the F.K. International production, "Apradh", but I must say that my most favourite performance of your was in Navketan's best film: "Tere Mere Sapne" which finally inspired myself to become a Doctor. I am so impressed with your utmost honesty and candid style of speaking in this particular interview. Like your Iranian family roots, our family also speaks some Farsi and we have many Persian friends in our close-knit Persian community here in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. I wish Dr. Dicksheet was still alive to see you now, and to see our dear 3-year old daughter: ✫ Sanjana Shafali Shaharazade ✫ whom we named after the Persian character, Shaharazade, from "The Arabian Nights"/"Thousand and One Nights" story. Many people here, including our dear Son, Sanjay Arman Kumar II say to us that our daughter slightly resembles your childhood photos. What a fantastic interview..Very open and honest..that is the reason people still love Muntaz's work in the film. I was little disappointed as no question was asked on Jeetendra..Jeetendra Mumtaz also was hit pair and so Mony movies they worked together. But all said and done very Frank and transperent was Mumtaz.

On those days Rajesh Khanna & Mumtaz pair had given us a long series of super hit films in a row. Those were unforgottenable. Mumtaz- I had seen u paired with Dara Singh on my school days and then I saw u paired with all the top heroes of Bollywood on those days. U were one of my favorite heroines when u suddenly left Bollywood I was really shocked. Stay well Mumtaz. As u r a Leo, your habit surely b always emotional ❤

Love you Mumtaz ji. Have been watching your movies since you were very young so you could guess that I am not young. I must tell you that you were my mother’s favourite. She only went for Hindi movies if Mumtaz starred in it. She loved you. My mother passed away 2 years ago at the age of 99. Though she has gone I am sure she will be happy wherever she is because I am sending you this message about how much she loved you.
