Bronwyn Nichols Lodato currently serves as President of the Midway Plaisance Advisory Council (MPAC) and Chair of the Board of Friends of the Parks, Chicago’s city-wide park advocacy organization. Nichols Lodato received a B.A. from Northwestern University, an M.A. in International Relations, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. She is an energetic proponent of parks as accessible, public spaces integral to the city’s infrastructure and vital to its citizens’ health.
