Munira Mustaffa on Johor police post attack 

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has called for firm action, after two officers were killed in a police station attack in the outskirts of Johor Bahru in a place called Ulu Tiram. The assailant - with suspected links to militant group Jemaah Islamiyah - was shot dead at the scene. The suburb is no stranger to Jemaah Islamiyah. The founders of the group - Abdullah Sungkar and Abu Bakar Baasyir - moved there in 1993 after fleeing Indonesia. The two men were on the run to avoid imprisonment for espousing radical views.
