Thank you so much to Marcelo Vignali for the interview. Please check out his website. His art is absolutely breathtaking and he is the nicest guy. favillistudio.com/
This video is FANTASTIC. Marcelo's illustrations are brilliant and I love when they come to life. Great production values; keep up the great work! I'm subscribed and thrilled to see what's next!
Thank you so much! There is a lot on the way, including a thorough history of how Disney on Broadway came to be including interviews with the directors, producers, cast members, and designers that were part of the journey. The Science and psychology of theme park scents including interviews with scent engineers and theme park scent historians. I'm excited. :)
This is a spectacular video. I feel like I’m getting in on the ground floor of a channel that is about to take off! The animations added so much life to the illustrations and the interludes of visuals and information between interviews scenes kept me engaged to the very end. Can’t wait to see what comes next. 👍
Well done! Enjoyed learning about Muppets and the early vision Disney and Jim Henson were striving for. I can only ponder what could have been. Always have been a Muppets fan and when I first saw Muppet 3D back in 1994 it instantly got me hooked. :)
Marcelo's description of his ride vehicle idea around 11:00 reminds me of what ended up happening with Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway's trackless ride vehicles, ahead of his time!
There is still some rather futile hope in the back of my mind that this could become a reality one day. Maybe one day the muppets will become widely popular once again and they’ll have the incentive to build a proper Muppet themed land. When ‘Grand Avenue’ inevitably gets destroyed to make a link between Galaxy’s Edge and Star Tours us Muppet fans will never forgive them if they don’t find a way to keep Muppetvision alive. I’m sure there’s space to still do a Muppet Studios area with the 3D show, restaurants for Swedish Chef and Pizzarizzo (but good) and an homage to the now defunct Great Movie Ride. It’s unlikely but I won’t let myself lose hope.
They need a good muppet movie comeback. If they have a sudden new surge of millions of new fans, they could consider something. But a whole new team will probably come up with a completely different idea for a ride to coincide what they are then famous for. It’s almost more fun contemplating what they could do in the meantime. One of the reasons I made this video was not only to tell Marcelo’s amazing story, but to give you a chance to ride this attraction in your imagination.
