We were excited to do a walking tour of Philadelphia's Mural Mile. In addition to seeing some of the best street art in Philly, we would learn the inspirational stories behind the murals. Come along as we check out Philadelphia street art on our Mural Mile Tour run by the Mural Arts Program.
The Mural Arts Program started as an anti-graffiti movement, but the mission has grown to be much more than that. They have helped people with substance abuse issues, those that have been incarcerated, the homeless, and more.

i love street art! i like how you showed in a different window the work of art when the docent is talking. i like how there's social meanings behind the art, such as the one helping the homeless.

I love street art. Really impressed with that one wall painted by the school kids, and that there are different sponsored themed art to allow different groups to express themselves.

Just love the enormous imagination, talent and great detail that was put into some of these murals. The narration provided by the tour guide on some of these pieces was equally interesting.

Wow had no idea there was so many cool street art murals in Philadelphia! Tours are always the best way to gain an understanding about the art. Loved hearing little snippets of those stories throughout.

I didn't know about this mural! I believe street art is quite important for people to have contact with art in general. It really shows the scars and insecurities of cities. Cheers!

Really appreciate his passion towards these pieces of art! Money for housing and not war is so touching. They really brought the town alive!

Great video. We love street art and tend to seek it out. San Francisco has some really cool pieces...as does london and Bristol in the UK. We love travel and have just started vlogging our trips....great to share and ive something back, as well as watch others like yourself for ideas, tips and motivation. Look forward to more 🙂
