This is a proven fact that real hip-hop lives underground. If 9/10 popular rappers on the radio was asked to cypher or ride a beat like this, the wackness meter would explode lol. Their shit sounds good in the club, but that's it. Bars and lyricism all fucking day!
Paul N. there's a place in hip hop for the popcorn bubblegum raps, the dance raps, political raps and serious raps. Labels are at fault for brandishing rappers in categories that don't match. Labels spend money and years conforming today's hip hop to the point where there are unwritten rules and copycats imitating those with success. Whether it's a party beat or slow tempo, you can find drugs and murder in everyday music. That lane isn't for every artist. As stated in most comments, if the music ain't ghetto-living, survival by trapping lyrics, it ain't worthy. Hip hop is a young genre of music and the labels (jew owners) have their fingerprints all over black culture. My friend you, like most of us, myself included, are subconsciously molded like clay to have beef within our own genre when I fact hip hop has many parts and constantly changes.
No just commercial rappers... Black thought killed it Lloyd Banks killed it Even russ killed it Real rap has always been here, just have to look for it because it won't find you
I like how cleverly he put together the food reference “knock his noodle out I never cared, marinara smear em, like who done spilled spaghetti here” 🥴😭🔥🔥
All these hating ass people on here commenting either don't like rap, or like wack ass rappers. This man came wit straight bars & punch lines for 8.5 minutes. He's a battle rapper so u gotta expect it. Mook killed it. & if u don't agree, then rewind & re-listen dummies!
@@chancregister2714 ... My close friend went to school with him and was a year ahead of him and they battled... My friend always tells me that Mook was always prepared...
I think what makes him great is the emphasis he puts on certain words his hands, head, facial expressions, everything is talking to you when he raps. Dudes think they are too cool to rap like this. Mook never disappoints.
+Charles Sciascia (SciA) Then he came back wit it at 8:23 with a different concept. He said I'm about fetty nigga these 8 balls are 80 a wop. This is why a lot of industry artist are scared of the battle culture the word play is ridiculous bar for bar they eat u alive.
