My theory is the flesh is the matter the absolute solver pulls. We learn in episode 2 that because it is a reboot program and can regrow heads and the like, it may leave a null, or a blackhole/nothingness, where matter was pulled. The solver essentially makes and takes away matter, hence the flesh.
Oooo, with the eldritch creature theory maybe it's trying to make/bring/create either a world or an actual being into existence. That'd make some sense as a motivation!
Also if you didnt spot it in ep 4, we can see cyn in some different shots, meaning that when cyn is around, it means two things(that the drone will do) 1:Go on a rampage to kill (Uzi s case) 2:Possession (2nd case of Uzi)
I really like the theory that the absolute solver is the “base AI” that the specific OS (like the WorkerOS) put over. It’s literally just an algorithm made to solve problems, but when unfiltered through an OS and left to it’s own devices, it goes rogue for one reason or another. So when a drone is improperly decommissioned and damaged, it might attempt to reboot, but the OS might fail to load, leaving the AS in unfiltered control of the drone. The AS being a blank but hyper intelligent AI system also accounts for all the weird shit we see it do, like why it couldn’t properly control CYN’s body or talk with normal voice. All those functions are coded in through the OS layer.
Has anyone played the Horizon series, if you want something about A.I read away, but if you want to try the game don't read In the game, a series of machines called the chariot line, is a group of machines that run on a singular A.I, it was designed to perform basic labor tasks or go to war, it had a firewall and anti-hacking systems so advanced it would take the entire world collaborating almost 60 years to get into their network. As well as the ability to take over any A.I through a robust hacking system of its own (kinda like the solver). It also could take biomatter and convert it into fuel or use it to replicate itself, which it only did in emergencies. Unfortunately a "glitch" was uncovered where a single network of chariots went rogue and began consuming all biomass, eventually wiping out all life except for a few pockets. My theory is because a deactivation command when the machine is back to full power, causing it to continue to consume with no stopping it. The A.I is also like the absolute solver in a sense To counter this, Humanity created another A.I named GAIA, it was designed to brute force the shutdown code of the Swarm and rebuild the now desolate Earth, and to ensure it wants to rebuild Earth, they "trained" it by sharing personal experiences with nature and by bonding with it, which eventually evolves it from Cyn speech to full conversations. I think Yeva and Nori were similar in which they were given the solver with no limitations in their A.I but were trained to want to protect humanity and other drones.
I'd say: yes It must have activated in some Drones before CYN, so the Zombie Drones video could be made. These hosts obviously were not as proficient at using AS as CYN was. Or they at least were not as malicious. CYN being sent to her "basement timeouts" probably did nothing to make her less malicious, either 🤔
I think the absolute solver is what enables the sentience of the drones and the programming is what keeps it in checks. My theory is that the drones' AI is not AI as we understand, they show emotions,.feelings, pain and are capable of complex social interactions witj each other. My idea, considering the physics breakinh powers of the solver (Aka [NULL], the flesh stuff and the "physic tool") is that it is an eldritch intelligence or influence beyond our universe's bounds, interacting witj our universe like a developper with a bunch of lines of codes, JcJ most likely reversed the "code" and used it to create sentient robots, and the Solver is what happens when the code is left too long in a damaged vessel (code most likely being housed in the robots' core) and this otherworldly influence start leaking out of it driving the previous drone's personality to insanity while giving it access to those strange powers. Tldr: I think the drones are NHPs from Lancer (in terms of hiw they work)
now you mentioned the sun thing I wonder if that will destroy cyn in episode 8 if its the finale it would be cool to see that plot point come up and watch the main villain die because of it.
If I don't want to go full on Eldridge entity stuff, I will say that AS might be some error in the program that makes the host overheating must easier, so they need more oil to survive, so they have to grow those limbs and extra parts to catch their victims easier, or maybe those extra parts are from Cyn's experiment to add more stuff to the AS (but I don't think this one is true, though). Just to clarify to everyone that Cyn is not the solver because Tessa said "it took Cyn as a host". It's like hollow Knight where the radiance is the solver where Cyn is the hollow Knight
The way I look at it is that Cyn is the primary host of the Solver, so it bases a lot of its behavioural patterns on hers. It’s the same line of reasoning as Destroy all Humans 2, where Pox dies but uploads a copy of his consciousness to a hologram projector. It’s not the original, but it’s so close to the original that the difference becomes irrelevant.
I think the most agreed theory that people suggest it’s some Eldritch Lovecraftian Entity that can manipulate matter, create Eldritch monsters and singularities that can destroy planets and jumps in damaged Technology to control it, it’s also heavily implied that the solver can also warp reality. Depends if matter manipulation is considered reality warping, although black holes do distort time and space around it. I also remember seeing a theory on Reddit that the solver may have a body of its own, perhaps it could have a true form we might see in episode 8 who knows.
If that's the general consensus, then I disagree. I think it's the base a.i. of the worker drones, and the power is something built in. I'd state my reasoning if anyone asks.

Especially considering the fact that drones need to be outright infected with it in order to have it, which is a MAJOR thing that's repeatedly pointed out. Why would you need to infect something with what is supposedly their "base AI"?

One little thing you missed about how the solver infects a host, “tessa” says that it can ONLY mutate in specifically damaged AI. This also respectively applies to both Uzi and Doll. Teacher literally says there’s something blatantly wrong with Uzi’s programming compared to other students. Meanwhile doll…. Well aside from the trauma and murderous tendencies, she isn’t able to speak the same language as other drones so there’s probably something wrong with her programming to that effect. It’s a small but important detail for figuring out who is a potential host for the solver.
The "damaged AI" simply refers to the Drone being broken and rebooting afterwards and it's inherited by Uzi and Doll. Also, I would take everything "Tessa" says with a grain of salt, as it's CYN and may want to spread misinformation.
The chance of the Solver being created from a discarted Drone is actually lower than 0.01%, because thats just the chance for a reboot. The chance of a "hazardous mutation" of the program is 0.7% according to the chart at the end of the zombie drones tape, meaning the chance for an absolute solver is at maximum 0.01% * 0.7% = 0.0001 * 0.007 = 0.0000007 = 0.00007% The real chance is propably lower, as "hazardous mutation" might also include aggressive behaviour or smth like that xD
I agree with a lot, but there's a chance of the Absolute Solver being something else. The way that people call infected robots witches kind of indicates that they're a natural-supernatural hybrid. They've pulled in religion in the beginning, and now even more symbols in the end, emphasizing sacrifice especially with their standees line(One TBD but that's another theory). At one point it was called a mutation in the code. I think that the mutation had to be caused by something that was angry at the 'late-stage capitalism,' which is just greed taking over, or that it's a force in the universe taking over. Because it's limited to a line or two of code on a robot that only has a dual processor to live its entire life on (at least in worker drones which is confirmed in episode 2 when the investigation is happening and some of the parts are laid out to be seen), maybe this force can't do much but give a piece of itself to bring a robot, a person who isn't seen as a person, back to life to make things right, but just ends up with the only shard thinking that the destruction of everything was a viable option. Maybe even a being that wants the destruction of the world for its own reason. Cyn is pronounced 'sin' so maybe it's out of petty jealously and anger. We see the pit, or Cyntessa separate N and Uzi before she slides them all the way into the pit, so Cyn may still have feelings about them hanging out because it likes N as a big brother. Maybe Cyn is still looking for targets for an anger that should have been satisfied. Cyn already didn't 'discard' Tessa, but literally put Tessa on her own body to wear like a bodysuit (We can see this when there's the 1 and the worker insignia on the chest display in episode 7 when she's eating that we almost never see otherwise, but I think it fits since we only see Nori as 2, and Yeva as 48. No other worker drones have been given numbers so small to my knowledge). Anyways, that's my theory, Cyn I'm assuming is a person, but maybe a weird manifestation of something else, an incomplete eldrich being angered at the destruction of so many robots, or sensing the anger of many creatures, and giving them a bit of power to fight back. Who knows though, I'm ready for the next episode! :D
