Driving to gym last night, listening to a bit of local Raleigh Top 40/CHR radio, and a bumper comes on that says, "here's what's trending in the Triangle...Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Murder on the Dancefloor..." and I'm thinking to myself, "what the hell just happened? Have a fallen through a time portal and landed back in the year 2001?"

People like Sophie are a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other women in the music industry. She's so honest, pure, wonderful and beautiful. Compare her to other women of the same musical era like Cheryl Cole and Sophie is like a saint. She loves her craft, takes pleasure in it and does it fantastically.

She was part of an 80s concert I was at last year in Dublin. She stole the show. Elegant, beautiful, entertaining and talented. Random, but it was a really sunny day and the whole time I was worried she'd get sun burnt. She's an actual milk bottle.
