British actor and new wave, rok, pop singer Murray Head performed with the 1984 years song ''One Night In Bangkok'' from album ''Chess'' in German Entertainment show ''ZDF-Fernsehgarten'' on ZDF 09th june 2019
***WOW Just wow!*** This song was so huge around the world and it totally reminds me of the very few first days of MTV! I remember the day I heard it, I was in a big video game arcade (anyone remember them, lol) my God did we have fun in them when they first came to Michigan north of Detroit and they were $.10 a play (!) and we played for hours back then. I miss that time of my life, how about you?
Murray is a great entertainer. I learned to play chess when I was 6 years old, and love the game. When this song came out and hit it big, I was a happy camper.
I loved the song back in '84 and still love it now - January 2020! Funnily enough, I watched Murray last week when he appeared in a full episode of Heartbeat. This police series ran on British TV throughout the 90s and early noughties.
My brother first introduced me to this song when I was only a teenager and I totally loved it back then, watched it today (which is not the first time since then) and I love it more than ever....means all the world to me, thank you...let the great music roll forever👍👍😊😊
Исполнителя никто не знал? Да ну. Мюррей Хэд, между прочим, пел Иуду в Jesus Christ Super Star. А это была главная роль (Христос в либретто на втором месте в списке).
@Mark C I am an American who enjoys this video. The setting is beautiful. The mistress of ceremonies speaks German. May I assume ZDF-Fernsehgarten is part of Germany? Architecture and pools of blue water are beautiful. I suppose Google might lead me to the correct country, but I would appreciate someone helping me here with a few details. Where is this beautiful place?
In 80's I immigrated to USA 🇺🇸 form PAKISTAN🇵🇰 via Belgium &those were good old days in Brooklyn! Thank you for sharing this forever young classic! Ps : i been to bangkok many times & its a great city
You know someone hears this song for the first time and goes 'omg this song is so problematic, i need to make a 20 part youtube series complaining about it'. :D
