I can't recall the brand, but one of the Chinese generator companies warn that their generators may smell like gasoline because they are briefly test run at the factory. That pressure washer is a good example of why they do. Not to mention that a generator is more important than a pressure washer, like after some storm knocks out your power for a few days. I had that happen after some hurricane. I bought a 3,500 watt generator the next month. The next storm that hit, I watched TV, surfed the internet and had ice & a microwave until they got the power back on in a couple of days. I ran off propane, which is the way to go because you can store it forever. I have enough propane for anything except WW III. I was running the generator for a few hours, not realizing that the power was back on, until I heard my neighbor's air conditioner running.
Great job ... Costco sells a husquvarna .. i left fuel in it over winter .. what a mistake .. I've pulled the carb and cleaned it a few times . But keeps letting fuel bypass into oil .. gummed up pin in float bowl .. think I'm gonna just change the whole carb out .... and will never leave fuel in it again ... always run them out completely for winter storage .. do u have a carb replacement number .. anazon has quite a few ..
@@TomDobyMowerRepair @TomDobyMowerRepair you means SAE10W30? But on the Murray pressure washer says use SAE 15W40.. I can't find anywhere 15W40 engine oil for gas engine, all they have for diesel engine...
