It's lock number 10 on the Murray river that the water is streaming over the top of the discoloured water that is coming in from the Darling River. There is a thin strip of land a bit of a ismus between the two river systems before they merge.
Thanks for sharing this but it's old as lock 10 on Victoria side is completely gone, my old camp is just about under water now been trying to keep a record of it from the shore
The Darling is fed by the Minindi Lakes which were full from heavy rains from Queensland/NSW earlier this year. The lakes are pretty murky and the Darling is flowing hard, thats why it’s muddy!
What contaminants where in the water in the 1950s Please share you stories of what pollutants chemicals have done over the years. History shows us so clearly the mistakes of the past. It is great to see water in the basin if only it where just water
I rarely agree with the greens, but this has to stop. It is not as if the water was being used for food crops, the only ones who benefit from this are the sweatshop clothing manufacturers.
