he's gotton alot of thinner too. Must've dropped weight. got a bit of a receding hairline. A little accent, must've lived with the bahames in Africa. And he's faking it.....

With oil based pomades (especially with Murray's), it's best to rub it between your hands fast enough that you can feel the warmth from the friction (that's what _she_ said) which will soften it much more and make it much easier to apply and comb. Using this method, Murray's won't tug & pull at all... (obligatory: that's what _she_ said).
I'm actually using Murray's Superior Hairdressing Pomade again. First time I bought I hated it because it hurt like hell when I applied it on dry hair a year ago. That was before I applied products on damp hair. I did that yesterday when I first revisited the pomade. It is better to apply the pomade on damp hair because it does not hurt when you do so, and you don't lose a lot of hair when you do so.

On the review itself, I agree Murray's is okay, but it hurts my scalp because of the mineral oil I believe. I think anything with mineral oil tends to leave a rash or something on my head, so I had to stop using it. Dax W&G stopped using it, and I just generally like the way their pomade works a bit better. It's a good bit easier than Murray's to get into the hair and it holds well, nothing has as much hold as Murray's, but it does the job as well as you need it to.
he got older so his voice will change. When I met up with friends after my first year of college, EVERYONE said my voice had changed because the people I was with were from such a different background. He went to Africa where people speak native languages and European languages for two years so his voice naturally will have changed a lot, but should obviously go back to something very similar to how it was two years ago.
I used Murray's for years, so quick little tip...Dish soap. To get Murray's out of your hair just wash with a little bit of dish soap then use a daily clarifying shampoo with a really good conditioner afterwards.

I found that even better than water based pomade is water based product like paste, clay and fibres. They are lot cheaper than WB pomade and they disolve most build up in one go.

I like Murrays a lot. I picked up a can at an African-American beauty shop. I saw a totally different product. I think because it was not as old. I buy my Murrays at the shop mentioned above. I like it much more then Dax Wave and Groom. I liked the fact you reviewed it. Again I think most people on here are getting an old product. Try Murrays 50-50. That stuff is awesome, so is Nu Nile.

That's cool, though. You spent years on a different continent! You even seemed to have picked up a bit of an accent which is always interesting. Been using this stuff for more than 10 years highly recommend my brother put me on to this back in the early/mid 2000s I recommend you use it after a shower

easy way to style when using Murrays is a hair pick for top and back to create the pompadour or jelly roll or any style your going for and a roller brush for the sides and back for those duck tails
You've got to use a very forgiving vent brush by doing small strokes and sections instead of taking a brush and literally pulling it through your head. Once you can slowly and gently spread the pomade it's time to get creative. Start with a pick and then move to a circular plastic bristle crush for creating and maintaining pomp styles or any style really. But never use this and pull and tug at your hair because it can and will pull it out
