I keep coming back to this for years now, thank you for making this. Personally, I don't understand the criticisms you're getting about getting carried away, besides maybe being just subjective taste; You managed to incorporate the core theme of the original into an energetic remix that puts the swirling torrent of emotions in a complicated relationship into something equally complex and passionate. Plus, imo it sounds hella good on its own, even without the context of the original.

Anyways, I agree, I did do a lot of slicing with the vocals, some of which was just so the percussion sounds in the sample lined up with my track, but I also feel like it represents the idea of the song itself - how love is a sort of madness - hence the slightly crazy nature of my vocal slicing.

I'm not an expert for the technical aspect, but i think this is good work, like some evolution in the dubstep style. You should make other remix in that dubstep way (if it's not already the case)

You clearly put some work into this and while you seem to have a firm grasp on the tools you're using, you haven't quite put them to use in the right way. You must understand a song before remixing it; it's strong and weak points, the song's direction, and the pacing of it. Sure, put your own spin on it, but make sure you don't completely disregard the original. Your goal is to enhance it, not make it something else. The hook was mangled and broken and the song didn't have a strong build up.

This is not that bad at all. I love how you worked it. I admit that there's some things to improve like the dub aspect. It seems like you mangled a little too much all your sounds in the rise up. Your lead of the beginning and your lfo synth really fit with the vocal notes but they don't fit together. Try to understand me because I'm not english lol. Keep working, try to improve the chord of your further leads so it can really fit with your agressive touch.

Man. THAT pretty much ruined a great song. One of the primary strengths of the original is the evolution of it's crescendo. Diced and stir-fried in this rendition. Shame. Just my thoughts.
