@@gortalla5474 I assume you are American. So I'm not even going to argue. But this song is one of the deepest love songs ever written. Try listening to the lyrics for a change.
@@kereminion6049 why do people always assume someone is American? Always confused me, and frankly, it's just prejudiced. And yes, I did listen to the lyrics, it really isn't that deep. I wouldn't really paint it as being about love. To me the song is about coming to accept the true person behind the mask people usually hide behind. Even the title hints at this.
I told this girl that i wanted to satisfy the undisclosed desires of her heart. She said it was like the nicest thing anyone has ever said to her but idk lol.
YIKES, that's actually not a healthy relationship at all. Both partners need to be in an emotionally healed, stable place for the healthiest, most successful relationships. Makes for an _excellent_ song though 🎵🎶
I know you've suffered But I don't want you to hide It's cold and loveless I won't let you be denied Soothing I'll make you feel pure Trust me You can be sure I want to reconcile the violence in your heart I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask I want to exorcise the demons from your past I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart You trick your lovers That you're wicked and divine You may be a sinner But your innocence is mine Please me Show me how it's done Tease me You are the one I want to reconcile the violence in your heart I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask I want to exorcise the demons from your past I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart Please me Show me how it's done Trust me You are the one I want to reconcile the violence in your heart I want to recognise your beauty's not just a mask I want to exorcise the demons from your past I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart
Dude, this is my favorite song from Muse. Thanks for this quality upload of Undisclosed Desires. That's mighty decent of you sharing all these lyric videos. Thank you. And to all the people suggesting that this song is about God or Jesus, though it makes "biblical" references, the song I believe doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive or limited to Judeo-Christianity. With particular consideration to the words from 1:38-1:55, "Please me, show me how it's done. Tease me, you are the one", I personally prefer to interpret the song at least for what it may mean in itself as being more about just-another-sinful man type of deal who wants to comfort and satisfy (and may even be in love with) who can be suggested as a just-another-sinful woman holding in guilt for past deeds along with her unsatisfied desires, which can include and/or be comforted through specifically but not exclusive to just passionate sex, alongside maybe becoming real lovers.
Perhaps to make herself feel and appear strong. But he is telling her that there is no need to hide. He will take away all her pain and drive away her demons. He will satisfy her every desire. Her desire to be desired, loved, cherished.'' thats the meaning I found on the internet... I agree with it. the Author of the meaning quoted is unknown.
theres so meny awsome songs that i listen to that i didnt know muse made but ive always loved muse since i heared a song from this album and my english sucks
I didn't know Uprising was by them, and I spotted The Resistance album in a charity shop so I thought "Ok then" and bought it. Put in on, heard Uprising and freaked out a bit.
He once sent me this song. A few days after this, he broke up with me. He knows that I’m still dying every time I see him. I still wear the bracelet he got me. If you ever see this comment,I want you to know that I’m so in love with you. You don’t even want to see me again. I’m hearing the songs you have sent me all the time just to feel you close to me.
I HEAR (JUST W/ HEADPHONES) SOME WHISPERS SINGING THE SAME PARTS IN THE SONG, IN A VERY VERY QUIET VOICE. SOMEONE ELSE HEAR THEM TOO? OR IM JUST GOING FKIN CRAZY AND I NEED MEDICAL HELP?
Not only is the song about Julia, but it is about the moment I the book where Winston and Julia go to the woods. There, they share their secrets, their feelings, and end up loving each other and planning to conspire together. This song breathes that moment. And by the way, every song, apart from the symphony in the end, literally is about a chapter/key moment: Uprising: the angry thoughts Winston has in the beginning of the book; Resistance: the moment Julia tells Winston she loves him and the happenings after that; Undisclosed Desires: what o said above; US of Eurasia: The moment Julia and Winston meet with O’Brien, in which he talks about the mechanics of war and politics between the continents; Guiding Light: The moments of apparent relief lived by Winston and Julia loved each other in piece in his room, right before they got caught; Unnatural Selection: the thoughts they shared in that moment about the world, and the thoughts Winston had about his situation after getting caught and set apart from Julia; MK Ultra: the torture to which Winston was submitted, crushing him and his mind; I Belong to You: this baby Ist he most sarcastic song ever: sounds like a very deep romantic song, but it’s nothing but the opposite: the moment in which Winston gives himself to the Big Brother, mindlessly, dead inside. And also mentions his doubts about whether or not did Julia delivered him to the Thought Police. So, to me, this is a brilliant album: because of its dept and meaning; its intention. It has a story. That is what makes Muse a ver interesting band, because they to it in every single album. Every album has a story, a concept, a vibe and a soul, as if every single one was a universe with its own laws and unfoldings.
+B Rye this song does so much shit that normally annoys the fuck out of me but holy shit is it good, it's like the equilibrium of songs, something I normally would and probably should hate, but It is so good for some inexplicable reason.
This song is about God and accepting us all for who we are but are scared to admit. I love these lyrics and finally someone has a positive Message. God Bless
Martin Maguire No it doesn't, being a human makes him an asshole, complete with the rest of the body too of course. Anyway, he should've had sufficient knowledge about the English language before he even attempted to make such a statement. If anything he's illiterate and he should feel bad. And ledhead, he's just an Ѡ
Ana Guerra Well actually, the proper English language is the original language. So any other derivatives spell things differently, not the other way around.
Phillip Reynolds RP Standard English. Not "proper English language". There is not a single correct English dialect. That's why there is RP SE. That's the proper English.
