My wife and I were stationed at Robins AFB from 1982 to 1985 and the museum was being built when we left. Thanks for the tour. We will put this on our list of stops on our trip later this year.

I love all of your videos and would rather watch them than just about anything on TV. But as an Air Force veteran, this is my favorite. I love that museum and you did such a great job showing it. The history and function of the SR-71 is amazing. The F-15 is so cool....but the power and the agility of the A-10 makes it my favorite. Thank you again...and God bless!

During the WWII my grandfather's furniture factory produced the crates to ship plane engines. My Mother, who was born in 37, remembers walking into the crates.

My Dad was a B-17 nose gunner in the 8th ArmyAirforce stationed in England flying over Germany. I had his winter coat like the one you showed on the radio operator. It was extremely heavy and very warm lined with the virgin wool.

It is a wonderful place. I first saw this while stationed there 83-87 (5th MOB). Back then it was just one small building. Amazing how it has grown. The C-5 display outside was brought to the museum from the boneyard in Arizona. A friend on mine was on the crew that went out there to get it ready for a onetime flight to WRAFB for the museum. Beautiful place, and a great collection and presentation. Another wonderful video. Good Job I Love RV Life.

Reminds me of the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton OH. My son, an AF Vet, went there with us a couple years ago. We plan on making a trip to see the Georgia Aquarium and then on to Savannah this spring. Might have to add a detour for this. Thanks for the video.

Hope you get a chance to visit. About 20 minutes from Macon using the I475 bypass. When you leave the museum, a short drive on highway 96 places you south of Macon back on your way.

Avid RV'er (Airstream 190) and aviation enthusiast -- put them together, and the results are three RV Chapter Rallies at the Champaign Aviation Museum, the Mid-Eastern Regional Fly-In and the Memphis Bell roll-out event in Urbana, Ohio. I'm also a volunteer at the CAM -- building parts for the B-17 historic re-creation.

Thanks for sharing and for your service! I, too, was in the Air Force (75-98) and an aviation nut. Spent many years on the f/l as a SP and saw (guarded) many a/c. My two favorites were the F-111 and EF-111. I could go on and one. When I need an a/c fix, I like to go to Dayton. Great video and thanks for allowing me to virtually walk around with you and reminisce.

I Love RV Life Wright Pat has 4 hangers and a casual stroll takes about 3 hours. A must see is the XB-70. Plenty of parking and space for RVs. Free admission. By chance, any plans for an Oregon visit to the coast or Crater Lake?

Love to see the military planes, especially those from WWII. I’m always looking for the B-17 and B-29 since my dad was a tail gunner in those planes during WWII. If we’re in the area we will definitely check out the museum. Thanks for an excellent video.

Thank you for the video! You did mis-name a few aircraft, the C-131 is actually a C-130, What you called a EC-12 is an EC-121 but that is nit picking. The suspended helicopter is a MH-53 Pave Low. That exact helicopter I was forward deployed with in Desert Storm. I have been to the Museum at Warner Robbins a few times. Spent 15 years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Structural Repair troop till I was medically retired. Worked on a bunch of planes. A-7D, A-10 (23rd TFW Flying Tigers), F-16, F-15, C-130, HC-130, MC130, HH-3, HH-53, MH53, MH-60, C-141, F-4 (C,D,E,G models in Depot at Hill AFB), F-111, and C-5 in Transit Alert, KC-135 while deployed to Turkey. B-17, B-29, F-101 in Museum at Hill AFB, and Battle Damage Repair training on F-80 / T-33s. Loved my time in the Air Force till the later years when things got political and there was a lot of back stabbing. Still GREAT memories
