Omar Basha of Sudan was in power for 30 years he to built and commissioned Russian made support for his country. But in the end his long over stay in power has led to civil war in his country right now Sudan entire air force has been destroyed . My point is M7 can commission aircraft but in the end holding on to power for two long will end the same way as Sudan.

I have followed this guy as a boy in the 80s, during the wars in Uganda. He is an inspirational leader. Surely the country has improved since the 80s. We might complain about dictorship, but when there is material progress i say ❤ to Museveni

Where was this helicopter upgraded / overhauled? If it was upgraded / overhauled in Uganda, then do your homework, as it definitely is not the "first" Russian aircraft to be upgraded /overhauled in Africa. Paramount in South Africa has done a number of these and other aircraft from Russia, some of which have been leased or sold to other African countries. Aircraft from other countries such as France and Italy has also been upgraded / overhauled in South Africa by the Atlas Aircraft Corp and birthed South African Military Aircraft Industry.
