He tells history way better than my past history teacher. I just love the way he has knowledge of almost all sectors. He also has sharp memory. being able to remember the dates of way past events is awesome
Am 47 years old a Ugandan and I believe that museveni is not where he is because is a dictator but a leader who loves his country. If God can continue to give him knowledge and protection he can push another 15 years he his a true leader I love him dearly. Long live mwinekaguta long live
That doesn't remove the fact that his a murderer, tribalistic and very dangerous dictator Uganda has ever had. But good enough he is soon to be history, there is no rise and rise of dictator.
Countries without democracy are well better off than those that keep through elected leaders by the majority. Look at China, North Korea, Qatar, Eritrean and others.
To be in power for long term is not bad or an issue what matters is what you have done to those behind you, look at Libya to elect another person after a shot period is just to build a bunch of corruption
Mr president I adore ua wisdom en great experience in political leadership, why can't u lead the way so that East Africa in particular en Africa in general can walk the talk!
Don't forget that we've spent hundreds of years living in these borders. If we are to integrate it should be slowly. The Europeans caused some slight cultural differences that may seem minor but are of great significance. If not carefully looked into it might come back to haunt us and cause bigger problems. A good example is former Yugoslavia.
A journey of a thousand kilometers starts with a single step. Even the United States at the time of their independence in 1776 they consisted of only thirteen states, all of them located on the east coast along the Atlantic ocean.
Thanks alot your Excellency, why this knowledge came late for sure. Africans have been damaged from the beggining till the imperialist have advanced to technology
Africa will always dream "unity, unity, unity" :unless the people in same county will be united themselves . And these African leaders understand and put an END to the dictatorship reigns!!!!!
Good point but as we intergrate, please let your people free, our Ugandan brothers have been held hostage by you for the longest time. We can do both at the same time..
We have had many leaders, some alive, some long departed. But what wisdom is there in repeating what historians have done? Why must African dancers be reminded to leave the stage.?
Just unite those countries that want to unite, form a federation, build a strong army then invade and force those other countries external to the federation to join because the West will not allow it and have their followers in Africa.
I beg to disagree! Do not invade, instead do business with them. Do you know how hard to do business with a country that’s way wealthier than you? They’ll then decide to join the federation.
Such an approach would be dead on arrival. Days of military conquest are long gone. The best approach to African unity is not to enforce one country but to organically grow towards creating a system that leaves the people of different countries living, operating abd trading as if they were one country. It would be voluntary because there would be something in it for everyone. Create an economic union ie free movement of people, goods and services. Remove border tariffs.Hace a common African currency. First start with regional trading blocks, then merge then into a pan-African trading blocks. Then strengthen the role of African Parliament, without being in a hurry to dismantle various countries' Govts. If you invade any country, then they too will come together, align themselves with other stronger countries, and turn Africa to a super powers playing ground in the same manner it happened from the sixties causing Africans to lose their way to Unity.
Nahhhh Swahili only ???? Take the Top 7 languages and make them official. Swahili in Southern Africa is not popular at all but Shona and Zulu are the most popular. 1. Swahili 2. Yoruba 3. Oromo 4.Hausa 5. Igbo 6. Shona 7. Zulu.
@@innocent.amchechesi276 In Kenya we all speak 3 languages. English, Kiswahili and mother tongue (in my case, Kikuyu). By promoting Kiswahili, we're not diminishing other languages. The Kikuyu are over 20% of Kenyans. We and other large tribes could have been problematic and said that we want our languages spoken too
@@innocent.amchechesi276 and so you are mainly talking of Nigerian and South African languages. What of we others demanding that our languages also be included?
Then my question is, why don't we get united if even the presidents of the African countries know that we as Africans can only be stronger and prosperous after uniting our countries and have same people with equal rights to our mother Africa?
Millions of Ongolese were killed by this so called africanist. Bunagana lost countless congoles killed by this so called africanist. He dreams to rule which will never happens
You misunderstood Museveni. I am not an admirer of Museveni but on the opportunities Africa gas lost on Federating abd coming together, he is perfectly right. You can blame him for what he does but that does not take away anything from what he has said. 60 years after independence, East African countries are still grappling with how to unite, yet at the time of independence, the three pioneer East African countries had one currency, free movement of people, goods and services, common tariffs, etc. We were closer to a Federation then, than we are today! Those are facts! That he can pull out a copy of a 1963 newspaper saying " East African Federation this Year" says alot in terms of how far we have moved backwards in our attempts to move forwards.
The Prof was very eloquent, and I admire him greatly; but I'm not altogether convinced that ten percent of an elephant 🐘 is necessarily better than a whole rabbit . We know what rabbits can do 😊
