Absolutely! It's incredible to see how psilocybin mushrooms and psychedelics have the potential to make a positive impact on mental health. They've shown promising results in treating depression and anxiety. It's exciting to think about the possibilities they hold for helping people.
Psilocybin mushrooms have definitely had a positive impact on my mental health. They've been really helpful for me in dealing with anxiety and depression.
I suffer from severe Depressive Disorder . 10 years of being on all types of prescribed medications and living life through a fog of numbness. Like a total zombie. I couldn't FEEL any emotion for anything. My hippy friend talked me into trying micro dosing to see if it could help with my depression. I'd never done shrooms before, and I was scared. Being stuck inside my head, unable to control past traumas and negative thoughts, is how life is for me regularly. I didn't want to up the ante with possibly having a bad trip and hurting myself. But I was so disappointed. I was waiting to see colors and lights and SOMETHING, but I felt totally normal. Didn't think it worked on me or something because of my broken brain. But i really noticed it the next day. I woke up happy, and I literally had the best positive thoughts going through my head and a motivation I hadn't felt since I was a kid. It just really gave me an overall appreciation for everything I have. That was in August. So I've been off all my prescription anti-depression crap for about 7 months. I micro dosed about 4 times total. I just feel like a different person. I still have days here and there where I get a little sad, but it's nothing like what I've dealt with my whole life. It's manageable. With no medicating, no micro dosing. Idk if this will last, but if I need to be medicated again in the future, I hope micro dosing will help me again. I just wanted to share my story for anyone who suffers from mental illness and is curious about trying this. I never felt high. Just not sad and empty. ❤
Taking shrooms when you’ve been on antidepressants can affect the effects of the mushrooms. Since you’re off the meds now, I wonder if you would feel the effects (visuals) more.? I’m glad you’re feeling better with how little you’ve had! 🙌
Getting to the other side of that dark tunnel is sort of like a little rebirth. I picture it sort of like a traffic jam of memories the rest of your thoughts can't detour around. I feel like shrooms have a way of clearing up neuronal roadblock. Best way I can put it.
Here in the UK mushrooms is becoming a big a thing amongst certain people. People are buying mushrooms 🍄 of sites they seel spores and grow kits to grow them with a wide range of varieties of mushrooms with different levels psilocybin in them
@@Simon-talksthere not talking those type of mushrooms. Although Morels are fun to go out in the Forrest and find with your friends & family. I'm not much of a fan of eating mushrooms but more so of psilocybin💯👍🤙
@mellissamuse what amount is a micro dose? I left a longer list of questions in the comments. I do use shrooms and they always leave me feeling better and less depressed afterwards. I usually take 5-7grams of dried liberty caps but i guess thats not a micro dose. I would be interested to hear your views😎🍄👍
@@wubalubadubdubxxx .15 gram sometimes a little less, just depends on your body’s sensitivity. And you don’t want to microdose everyday. 3 days on 2 days off. Or else your body gets used to the mushrooms and you don’t feel it.
These findings are consistent with my experience: #1) I'm not a particularly excellent pool player - but the first time I played pool on mushrooms (and I was drinking, too, which seriously hurts my game), was the first time I ever ran a table. In a fucking bar, with a shitty stick, on a shit table. I was on POINT. Saw EVERYTHING I needed/wanted to, suddenly having ungodly (for me) shotmaking, and 'seeing' 1-2 shots ahead. #2) The first 360 I ever pulled on a snowboard was when I was shrooming on a beautiful, bluebird day, backcountry in deep powder. To this day, it's the most surreal, slowmotion-perfect, sublime, perfectly-rotated 360 I've EVER done - and when i suddenly decided to throw it, last second, it was without knowing what was beyond the peak/jump I was hitting - it was blind, but I was still okay with it, which is normally a no-no, but for some reason I sensed (accurately) what the lay of the landing/landscape was going to be. It was... glorious. Alone in nature.
I won a decent size bowling tournament on acid. Hit bullseye after bullseye on acid. (I don't throw darts) Ran a pool table at a huge club for 3 hours on acid ( I don't play pool either). Good ole days
I micro and it saved me from a miserable life of addiction 🙃 I've never been happier in fact I don't think I was ever happy before my whole life mainly self inflicted
I’ve been a fan of Paul since 2009. I told a friend about micro dosing years ago. He started trying it and he completely stopped taking his anti depressants and he said he no longer needed them and was happy. He became more social able and was able to feel and convey emotions better. Judging by things I’ve seen he is one of many who has had success like this.
Occasionally (rarely) ingest lsd. .The best way I can explain the results is this: let's say your computer, phone, video games system is malfunctioning, you hit the reset button, and everything rights itself (usually).. that's what happens to me when I dose. It's me hitting that reset button. I always feel more grounded and centered the next day. The energy and chi are right, and it makes it easier to discern the proper course forward. Especially if I have a really heavy decision to make. I strongly recommend it
@Yessirski246 Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. . Good for you that you don't need foreign substances!
@@triggertalk7755 it’s not an opinion it’s a fact though 😭 I’m not gonna sit here and argue that the EXPERIENCE you had on it was bad, that’s all subjective. But the fact is it’s bad for your body. There are lots of other ways to recover naturally like your talking about. For example: deep breathing exercises, meditation, good nights sleep, optimizing your bodies nutrition levels, eating good food, etc. Once you do all that their is no way you won’t feel 100x better then you did before…
I split the tip of my finger in two up to the first knuckle with an industrial blender. The doc that day told me I'd never feel that finger tip again or have a nail. For 2 months I micro dosed the entire time while it was healing and I have 95% of my feeling back and my nail is actually stronger than it was before. I did this because of Paul and what he said about nerve regeneration. My doctors were really surprised by how well everything turned out.
I had trouble focusing at my first full time job in my career. I was unmotivated and had poor attention to details. After we mutually parted ways I decided to seek help and a therapist prescribed me Wellbutrin. It worked, I found myself very focused but the drawbacks were worse. I was lethargic and my libido was gone. I’d been growing mushrooms for a few years at that point and so I tried micro dosing and it gave similar benefits without the drawbacks
Microdosing is the best gift one could ask for. It has so many amazing benefits such as eliminating anxiety and depression, improved mood, opening of the mind and lots more.i will recommend a mycologist. He will guide and direct you properly on how to microdose and you can order some from him. He ships discreetly.
My experience on it was the best experience of my life time I’m glad I discovered online store where I usually order mine from, they ships all sorts of psychedelic discreetly¿¿
I love how Joe interviews. He’s so motivated by hearing the facts and data and really dives deep into understanding the subject and experiments it sometimes sounds like he’s skeptical of the whole thing… however if you know him, you know he’s an avid mushroomer. lol I love that he’s not interviewing from a bias but more so from interest in understanding. ❤
I've been micro-dosing the Stamet stack for 2 days so far for my Multiple Sclerosis for neuroregeneration and of course, I am still having walking issues and I know it will take many months before seeing any results but I have felt the tingling and flushing from the Niacin. It feels great. The Lion's mane has excellent compounds erinacines and hericenones for MS apparently. The psilocybin has made me feel very happy, creative, intelligent, spiritual, positive, sociable, etc. same as taking mushrooms but without hallucinations. I didn't expect to feel anything but had a great couple of days with 300mg capsules. Not scary at all. Little moments of anxiety, but just learn to focus on something like music or work and immediately takes you to a happy place. I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to positive results. Really appreciate all your work and research, Paul. Thanks a million, mate. And thanks to everyone for helping to move these things forward. It means a lot to me and has brought me a lot of hope, to be honest.
Does the app work with other substances for tracking data purposes? I smoke like a half a gram of 80% thc wax throughout the day. Functional high. Would THC or CDB be worth collecting data, or other substances with the same data collecting method/tool/app?
@@kevinmurphy5878 Well... I mean... I low balled half a gram to not sound over zealous. 3-4 dabs per sit x 6-8 times a day I smoke, every 2 hrs or so. Going through 2.5g in 3 days. Platinum Cookie hybrid atm
Guy is cooked out here and getting it done lol! I also agree if you could track all of of that on functional people who can micro dose or smoke and go about their day I’m curious to see how the focus aspect changes and motivation most importantly cause to do anything you have to want to.
Just curious.. how/where are y'all getting mushrooms to try? Particularly interested in what Paul and Joe were saying about psilocybe cubensis. I'm NY Metro area.
The mushrooms are really great. The first time I did shrooms I started to recall childhood memories that I never, ever thought about, It was very amazing.
Question, what is the data for this on Lions Mane and niacin without psilocybin? Im a big supporter of microdosing, but this seems like a glaring hole in the data. Surely they had to think of that, but it isn't represented in the graph.
I know that lionsmane is super beneficial, can even help grow brain cells and help repair nerve endings, I’m sure there’s studies somewhere of it but you have a good point
It was because of the JRE and Paul that I finally decided to try psilocybin (Albino penis envy to be specific) and took a heroic dose. I will admit that it helped a ton the months after, more than my antidepressants ever had, and have since become fascinated with mycology and Paul’s work. Haven’t had psychoactive mushrooms in 9 months but I would be willing have some again
I am in the Pacific Northwest. I am from the Midwest. The mushrooms I get out there are totally a different experience than the ones I used to get in the Midwest. More of a body high muted visuals. Midwest I got were very visual comparative to the high quality LSD 125 I used to get. However I did make honey with lions Maine and liberty caps. Small doses with lemon juice delta 8 and HHC.......that's a wonderful pain free focused day for me.
I started micro dosing because Joe had Paul on a podcast like 6 years ago and got me interested in micro dosing. Took mushrooms to get high back in my 20’s. I have anxiety and depression now and I’m scared of pharmaceutical products so the natural benefits of micro dosing seems to help
Amanita muscaria is legal in 49 states, the one it isn’t is Louisiana, you can buy gummies, extracts, powder, or even whole mushrooms, it’s not cheap but if it saves your life and makes you happy it’s worth, do research and look into it, small doses make you feel relaxed, not stressed, not depressed, not anxious, and help with sleep
If you died right now are you a 100% sure you’d go to Heaven? It's because you have sin all people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. What is sin? Sin is essentially any bad thing we've ever done. Because of sin this is is the punishment “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8 KJV Jesus who is God in heaven came down to Do u know why you have to be saved? Do u know the story of Jesus? (If yes skip next step) if not do next step. God came down to earth as a man. Lived for 33 and a half years. He never sinned his whole life. Eventually some people got jealous of him and got him convicted of phony charges. He got crucified on the cross. Died. Was buried for 3 days then he was resurrected by his own power. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? Remember how I said we can't go to heaven because of your sin? The only thing that can wash away your sins in the blood of Jesus Christ “But God shows his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 KJV God did all that to save us from hell "Much more than, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:9 KJV Ephesians 2:8-9 “We’re saved by Grace through faith which is not of ourselves it is the gift of God not by works for fear any man should boast” Salvation is not by good works like “water baptism, attending church, any good thing you do” “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV Feeling godly sorrow leads to salvation “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 KJV All you gotta do is tell God out loud with your mouth you feel guilty and sorry for being a sinner. Then you just gotta tell him in a prayer. “Dear God I repent as a sinner. I believe Jesus is God who died buried and resurrected I accept his sacrifice for my sins I accept him as my lord and savior” But know just repeating these words won’t save you. You must genuinely mean them from your heart.
I tried them. They helped so much with my anxiety. It’s really a life changing shit. It’s wild I can’t believe it I could see and hear better. It’s probably just a hallucination of it but it felt true.
Its fungi. The only reason it's illegal is the same reason marijuana was. We can grow it and they can't tax it. And pills make people worse. You telling me you'd rather take pills for mental health than something from nature? Check your definition of drugs.
Psych saved me from depression and Anxiety, all thanks to my buddy who connected me to this mycologist who guided me through on my experience, he's got all kinds of psychedelics stuffs such as microdosing mushrooms Ayahuasca LSD Adderall Xanax chocolate bars and lot more and he delivers to all countries locally and overseas
The story this guy told about that crazy mushroom that makes you repeat what your doing non stop for hours is crazy. He told a story about some guy jumping off some 5 foot bridge over and over again cause the mushrooms was making him do it.. freaking crazx spooky stuff!!
Lucky it was only 5 feet. So this guy wants us to take things that make us lose control and jump off of bridges? Meanwhile the hippies that like getting high trying to justify it by pretending like it cures everything 😂
Matters what mushroom and how much you eat I play with Amanita mascara chocolates, one of my favorite is clearing my property of brush and trash and making a big fire while I’m on it, it’s always an amazing experience I also like playing red dead redemption 2 while shroomed, I’ll play the whole night on it
@@joedirt5720i ate a heroic dose my first time while watching the movie cool world. I suffered the endless loop and ego death. Quite the experience in high school. I had to call my mom to show up to make sure I wasn't really dead .
I had a friend who was taking small doses all day and then did a pretty large one and he got stuck into a loop repeating the same series of actions in a loop. It was actually really horrific. We thought we were going to have to tell his family he was broken.
Only one minute in and i can tell you based on my experience if o go 2 weeks without mushrooms i start craving alcohol and go on a bender. Ut as soon as i trip on them for two days i have zero cravings for liquor and wake up wanting to workout. Zero side effects or downers when i wake up and resets my consciousness more clarity. Micro dosing non-synthetic drugs, then helping people deal with the spiritual fallout that comes from microdosing and experimenting with drugs but also the mind expanding qualities that lead you on a very like been through meditation throughout your lifetime. Experience way too fast that’s really super cool also likes mushrooms. Well, I heard that people don’t feel like they need as many material possessions anymore.
@@STStudios98 Microdosing, the practice of consuming minimal, sub-hallucinogenic doses of psychedelic substances, often natural ones such as psilocybin (found in certain mushrooms), has garnered substantial attention in recent years for its potential to enhance cognitive function, emotional well-being, and spiritual insight. This practice, diverging from traditional recreational drug use, tends towards an introspective journey, emphasizing personal growth and enlightenment over escapism. The concept of spiritual fallout from such experiences is intriguing. Individuals might find themselves grappling with a heightened awareness of life's complexities and a deeper questioning of their existence. This awakening could lead to a reduction in the desire for material possessions, as you noted. The reason for this shift in priorities may lie in the reconnection with one's inner self and the world, fostering a sense of fulfillment that transcends materialistic pursuits. This change in perspective aligns with a broader, more philosophical, meditative approach to life. Meditation, an ancient practice, similarly seeks to expand the mind and enhance self-awareness, albeit through discipline and introspection rather than chemical means. The accelerated spiritual and cognitive journey that some experience through microdosing might parallel the gradual enlightenment sought in lifelong meditation practices. Both meditation and microdosing, in their respective ways, offer pathways to a deeper understanding of oneself and the universe. This can lead to a sense of unity and peace that is often described as transformative. Such transformations, though intensely personal, have the potential to contribute to a larger movement towards global understanding and peace. The experience of oneness with the world can diminish the perceived importance of material possessions and foster a greater appreciation for the interconnectedness of all beings. In summary, the shift in values and perspectives experienced through microdosing non-synthetic substances, like psilocybin mushrooms, resonates with ancient practices like meditation. Both can catalyze profound personal transformations that emphasize inner peace and a deeper connection to the world, which in turn could contribute to a larger movement towards global peace and understanding.
Online, amanita muscaria is completely legal unless you live in Louisiana, it’s perfect for microdosing, doesn’t contain psilocybin or psilocin which are found in most magic mushrooms but contains muscimol which is still psychoactive but legal, taken in small doses it helps with ptsd, anxiety, depression, and sleep
Microdosing saved me, used to be on lots of antidepressants and I made the switch one day (not safe at all) and no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. I was absolutely shocked then shown the universe. Cried happy tears instead of sad for once
4000 people downloaded the micro dosing app and then didn’t micro dose but submitted their non micro dosing responses? Sounds a little bulls%#^ to anyone using common sense - even Joe was like wait what? Why would they do that? Paul simply said “we have NO idea”
idk I’m definitely skeptical but there are so many viewers & listeners of this show, that amount doesn’t seem super crazy. Maybe some joined because they wanted to prove him wrong, maybe others joined because they planned to start dosing but didn’t have the connection. Or maybe it’s thousands of nonexistent people 😂

I see what you're getting at and don't entirely disagree, but given everything that happened during COVID and considering what we know now, COVID has to be talked about. Absolutely has to. Unless of course you think the entire thing was on the up and up
There’s definitely limitations on using hearing from a phone. The frequencies are very compressed and definitely a limitation to truly see the difference. It’ll tell you a difference but the frequency range in minimal and leaves out the true scope if there are benefits. Hence why music sounds like crap when it comes through phone speakers.
