Mushroom Manchurian Recipe:
To Deep Fry:
Mushroom (halved) - 400g (2 packets)
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Maida - 2 tbsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Black Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
Water - ¼ Cup
For the sauce :
Oil - 2 tbsp
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
Spring Onion Whites (chopped) - ¼ Cup
Celery (finely chopped) - 3 tbsp
Onion (diced) - 2 nos
Capsicum (diced) - 1 no
Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 3 tbsp
Water - ¼ Cup
Spring Onions (chopped) - 2 tbsp + For Garnish
Cooking Instructions:
1. To the mushrooms, add cornflour, maida, salt, pepper and water.
2. Mix till the mushrooms are coated well.
3. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the mushrooms till it turns golden brown
4. Heat oil in a wok, add ginger and garlic and saute for a few seconds
5. Add the onions and capsicum and toss for a few seconds on a high flame
6. Add the sauces and mix till it combines evenly
7. Add the mushrooms and toss till it is coated evenly with the sauce
8. Garnish with spring onions and serve it hot.
