I was nominated for the 60 Sec Zen Guda Drum Challenge by Alexey Lozhkin, and this is my musical offering to brighten your day. This is a piece of a new composition I'm working on as yet untitled. Hope you enjoy! Sending out love to all!
The primary scale I'm using is called Trance & the second tonguepan is in the Celtic Minor scale. Both instruments are Double models, so they also have notes and engravings on the bottom side.

So cool. I love these things. The Rav Vasts are really neat too. I've been thinking about making a tank drum but they take forever to tune. Anyway... I wish this video was longer than a minute.

Great composition skills! So what made you choose guda over a rav vast? Also, how do you avoid finger pain while playing?

@@urruvar Hi Subwoofer! Thank you! I love RAV Vasts too and own a couple. They have very different tones, and I like them on different songs. The RAVs hurt my fingers more as the steel is very thick. The Zen Gudas are totally rust proof & maintenance free which is a bonus, plus they come with a bag, plus you can get custom designs engraved... So I guess I'm more closely bonded to my Gudas though I love the RAVs too. Sometimes I use these silicone finger sleeves (I think they're called finger cots?) to cushion my fingers & thumbs.
