【元ちとせ（はじめちとせ） プロフィール】
鹿児島県奄美大島出身。2002年に「ワダツミの木」で鮮烈なデビューを飾り、以来、ボーカリストとしてさまざまなステージでその唯一無二の歌声と存在感を示している。2021年はインディーズミニアルバム「Hajime Chitose」「コトノハ」リリースから、来たる2022年には「ワダツミの木」での衝撃デビューから満20周年を迎える。また、生まれ故郷であり現在も生活の拠点としている奄美大島の世界自然遺産登録が有力視される今、独自の文化「シマ唄」を次世代に受け継いでいく語り部の一人としても注目を集める。
2022年、メジャーデビュー20周年を迎え、7月6日に14年ぶりとなるオリジナルアルバム『虹の麓』をリリースした。
[Chitose Hajime]
Born in Amami Oshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, she made her impressive debut in 2002 with "Wadatsumi no Ki" and since then has been showing her unique voice and presence on various stages as a vocalist. 2021 will mark the 20th anniversary of the release of her indie mini album "Hajime Chitose" and "Kotonoha". In 2022, she will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her shocking debut with "Wadatsumi no Ki". In addition, Amami Oshima Island, where she was born and where she still lives today, is expected to be registered as a World Natural Heritage site, and she is attracting attention as one of the storytellers who will pass on the unique culture of "shima-uta" to the next generation.
In 2022, the 20th anniversary of her major label debut, she released her first original album in 14 years, "Niji no foothills" on July 6.
