Music Director Anandji (Kalyanji-Anandji) on S.D. Burman Dada 

+Nirmalkumar Phophalia All the six music directors whom I have interviewed on Burman Dada have praised him for his compositions, diversity in tunes, nature, etc. Many of them have said they created songs based on Dada's style of compositions.

@ayan thakur, Sachin Dev Burman was great. RD and K-A have gone on record that they learned a lot from Dada. Anandji in an interview on RU-vid has gone on record that both the brothers considered Burman Dada as their guru.

BABA MANI IYER I have voice recording of Kalyanji in which has said, "Yun to sabhi music directors achche hain lekin agar number one dena hi hai to hum SD Burman ko denge. Us ka kaaran kya hai ki woh jo bhi compose karte hain us se lagta hai ki yeh aise picturise hua hoga. Waise to aankho se dikhaayi deta hai lekin unka gaana kanon se maloom padta hai". These are not exact words as I am writing from memory.

@Sadhan Hamal ji, Comments ke liye shukuriya. Anandji ne ek interview mein kaha hai ki dono bhai Dada ko apna Guru maante the. Music ke liye apna raaj bhaag chora. Unke pitaji chaahte the unko parhai ke liye England bheje, lekin bete ke khushi ke liye zid nahin kiya. Music ke passion mein woh mast bhatakte the, aur unke kharche ke liye paise bhejte rehte the. Calcutta mein woh rehte the Tripura palace. Jab pitaaji guzar gaye to unko Agartala se bulaawa aaya ki woh aake Minister of Education ki post sambhaale. Unhonein na bol diya aur isi vajay se apne aap mahal chorke jaake ek chhote flat mein kiraaye pe rehne lage. Unki autobiography aap padhiye to mast ho jaayenge.

+madhusudan insaan It is a personal choice and I respect you choice. But, in the above interview, Anandji has praised S.D. Burman Dada and even mentioned some of his songs which were inspired by Dada's songs. Similarly, in my interviews with other music directors, some of them like Ravindra Jain, Shantanu Moitra, and others too have said that their compositions have been inspired Burman Dada's music. That should be a food for thought for us.

@@gautamnandi1281 We have thank the modern technology due to which our songs and videos on RU-vid remain for our future generations to know our Golden Period which started with SD Burman in 1950 and ended with him in 1975. ❤️

+Pawan Sharma Wah! Bahut khoob, aap ne sahi shaks ko follow kiya hai. Bahut hi achcha na sirf sangeet-kaar, pad har ek cheez mein awal number yeh ek hi composer tha. Padha-likha MA first year tak, sab music directors se achhe rishte, sab ko shabaas dena chaahe Roshan, chaahe Naushad sahb, chaahe Madan Mohan, chaahe Chitragupta, chaahe Kalyanji-Anandji, aur kayi. Sports mein tennins mein college level tak, aur baaki sports mein kam se kam das sports jaanta aur khelne waala, ek hi composer tha jisne apni autobiography aur kuch articles likhi, sabse pehle 'Tune first lyrics afterwords' inhonein shuru kiya, awards na milne pad afsos na dikhaake musicians kobole, "Hum mogon ka award 'Public Appreciation hai jo bahut mila hai". Yeh sab hamaare intrviews se hai. Pehle kuchh interviews voice recorded thay jo upload nahin ho sakte, lekin voice hamaare paas hai.

Rajendra Gurjar ji, Anandji lives on busy Peddar in South Mumbai. In the evenings a lot of traffic is there with cars honking like mad. I agree with you but I had no choice. Thanks for comments.

Aap ki baat sahi hai. Anandji ka ghar Pedder Road per bilkul road facing jahaan sara din traffic aur horn bajta rehta hai. Raat ko 12/ek baje tak yeh haal hai.
