Prem Kumar ji, That was our Burman Dada, who, being a thinking composer, would create something unique, not participate in royalty enhancement discussions, not bothered about awards, creating leaders by asking his juniors to compose then help them in improving, etc. What you heard here is only a small part of what I know about Sachinda. Srinivasan Channiga Bandini. Dada composed background music with only one instrument, where RD and Anthony Gonzalves had composed dhoom-dharake wala music.

@Debobir Purkayastha L-P and K-A, both of them used to get their songs approved by Burman Dada in the beginning of their career. Dada used to suggest changes where necessary. RD Burman too was advised by Dada how to improve and put life in to his songs. There are a number of recorded proofs of that. 'Bada natkhat hai re' from Amar Prem is an example where Dada completely changed the song, as per Anand Bakshi and other sources. Even for 'Dum maro dum' from Hare Rama Hare Krishna film, Dada was part of the team sitting on the floor with Dev Anand, Asha Bhonsle and son Pancham during its creation, as per Dev Anand's interview and Asha Bhonsle who spoke about it in Zee Bangla show.

@@lalwanimoti if u hear the sings of manchali acted by sanjeev kumar the music was given by lp .But if you hear the songs closely lp ditto followed the style of dada in manchali.The song gham ka fasana or manchali kahana chali resembles s.d burman.

Motiji, Where there is a way ,there is will :-)) ....movie might not be feasible option.....you're better off reaching out to HBO or SHOWTIME or BBC or STAR or some such big channel with the concept and recordings you have (and few blessings from Lataji/Ashaji and other close Burman family members and former colleagues.) He was a multi talented person, excellent singer and composer were only two of his talents. I have written some articles on him based on my authentic research and desire that world knows more.
