Dreamcatcher usually made songs that artists and people who are in the industry would appreciate a lot of times they don't have that billion view popularity from mainstream but more for people who wants a little more intricacies with their products they provide high-end music rather than fast fashion music

Me everytime a new person in my life asks about who Dreamcatcher is cuz my entire room is filled with their merch lol hahaha for real tho their mvs are always a truly cinematic expierence and a visual feast, for whatever its worth you will at least have a great time exploring the DreamcatcherVerse lmao cuz their discography is basically entierly story-arc based and they always, deliver and leave you stunt
Dreamcatcher have had the same songwriting/ production team since they debuted in 2017. Two guys by the names of LEEZ and Ollounder. The duo broke up last November and this is the first song made by Ollounder. The song won two awards on the top Korean music show, The Show. Pretty good for a first solo production I'd say, and you just showed us exactly why it's so good. Love the reaction!
Wouldn't really call it a solo production when in addition to Ollounder on it you also have Peperoni, Oliv, Buddy, Door and Maddox, so basically Edenary for the most part.
*BONVOYAGE* is the 3rd installment of the Apocalypse Trilogy with *MAISON* being pt1 and *VISION* being pt2. The world is ending and it's so beautiful 🥹 I love that Dreamcatcher always talks about substantive issues that really matter like climate change, cyberbullying, the disillusion of the internet, overcoming depression, fighting for what you belive in etc and an encouraging message to be all that you can be and follow your dreams ❤
Haha never expected to see Dreamcatcher here but that's nice. Hope you can react to their first songs I literally started listening to them cause their music always gives me the anime vibes I like ❤
great reaction & you picked up on some really interesting points! one thing related to the song arrangement that I don't think is mentioned often enough even by fans - the synth melody in the instrumental bit in the intro comes back as a harmony line in the final chorus.....a super neat callback.
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!
Dreamcatcher is currently my all-time favourite kpop/k-rock group! They're amazing in every way. You should check out some of their other stuff! Leez and Ollouder used to be their main composers for most of their stuff and they were absolute POWERHOUSES. Ollounder left for another contract but Leez is still in along with some other great people.
Thanks for the reaction, that was a really interesting analysis! And shout-out to Vkos for the request 👏 I hope that, at some point, you get to check out the Dreamcatcher song I think Vkos got their name from: 'BEcause', that song is a genre-bending rollercoaster
Oh cool! Dreamcatcher is amazing. I saw them in Orlando a couple months ago. They’re amazing live. They also, like Band-Maid, are incredibly sweet and just good people.
Ayyy, nice to see you Tony. I discovered your channel through your AOT music reactions quite a long time ago but I also found DC not that long ago. They have very quickly become one of my favourite musical artists/groups of all time so I would really love to see you listen to more of their songs. I bet a lot of Insomnias will be caught off guard by the style of your listening, analysis and not focussing much on the visuals 😂Much love bro ❤
YAAAAS! Dreamcatcher is an INCREDIBLE group, all their songs mix genres, and they've got every kind of music in their discography. I hope you continue to check them out, there's so much to discover!
I did whatch your band maid reaction ( most of them😅 ) But now that you included Dreamcatcher I'm definitely subscribing! Hope to see more of your reactions to them in the future 😊 Your analysis of music is really great and easy to follow! I wish you to react to Demian by Dreamcatcher cuz a lot of people that are involved in music are supprised by structure of that song, so i wish to know your thoughts 🤔
Love your reaction! Just a slight thing, its hard to hear you talk when the video/music is playing, so maybe level them! Either that or its my earphones LOL
Can you listen to your best nightmare? It’s a really good theme in undertale, I also suggest sans genocide package by man on the internet (megalovania given lyrics that talk about one version of the story you can get while playing)
Hi there! Thank u soo much for reacting to our girls! Can you please please react to Maison or Deja vu next? Would love to hear your opinion on them too… Thank you!
Hey tony, been patiently waiting for you to return to beatboxing. i know you’ve already seen some of his stuff but Twisted Fate by DEN is a banger! great vid btw hope you’ve been doing well
Awesome! Would love to see you react to ‘Alexithymiaspare’ by Ling tosite sigure. Same singer/writer who did openings/endings for Tokyo Ghoul, Chainsaw Man and more! Manic Prog Rock madness!
