The most powerful song in the series. I searched forever for it. This musical score invokes so many emotions for me. You feel Beck’s pain, the real Beck. She’s a lost soul that was manipulated by everyone she encountered. To me, she was a young and naive woman. Her careless actions led to her demise. Trusting too much.
Totally agree! Felt the same when I heard it too, it allows you to full emphasise with everything that she went though. Her friends and her lover's all miss treated her and it's truly heart breaking. Beautiful music that has touched my heart and will be difficult to forget
Beck, as Joe puts it in S3, was just a child. She was immature, naive, and easily manipulated throughout her life. Beck was a cheater, but was learning to be loved, not used like how Benji, Peach and so many others did to her. It's a shame when Beck finally was at a place where someone could help her heal and grow, that person (Joe) ended up being just like all the others. Except this time it didn't just end with Beck feeling used and insecure of her own worth, it ended with her demise.
Beck in the show is more of a tragic death. She was finally in a space ready to heal and sadly the one person she trusted the most ended up being her biggest nightmare. Even if she came out of the encounter alive I don't think she would have found someone again. Beck in the book on the other hand is still a child and she even admitted it to Joe.
