Sinatra- the Campbell of balladeers. McCartney- the Campbell of pop rock. Elvis- well Glen himself said was a better singer. I`m up in the air on that one. So Campbell- the Elvis of contemporary pop country.
Maybe sad but I'd rather be sad and know I'm saved than sad and lost and at last he is in such a better place now . we all need to find the Lord Lord, we will find that we wish we had if we didn't Find him before time ends here on Earth Praise the Lord for his love for our souls . John 316 tin for God to love the world that he gave his only begotten son 💙 So that We would not perish but have ever Is lasting life . This was paraphrase Most important thing is a decision that you make with a personal relationship between you And Jesus
Glen Campbell is the perfect Christian formula story: The rise. The fall. And the resurrection. Fact is Glen had great fun because of the fall. Pat Boone didn't.
+John Bergdoll I might agree with you if it were actually the case that he got sucked into *religion.* Fortunately, he didn't. There was even a segment in this piece that addressed that. No, what Glen did is come into a relationship with the Savior and is now in the eternal presence of the Savior. Would that everyone's eternity could end up in that way, but, as the Bible says, there will be many who will reject the salvation purchased for them, choosing instead to lean on their own understanding of who or what God is. In short, the created likes to "invent" the Creator -- or deny Him completely. One fraction of a second after they pass from this life, they will eternally regret that choice. While you still have life, choose Jesus. You are an eternal being. Find out what that means and choose wisely.
There is no god. Glen, you done this yourself. There isn't no jesus either. But if you had to believe in something to make you feel better, I guess go for it.
