Tina Turner, the dynamic rock and soul singer who rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most popular female artists of all time, has died, according to a post on her verified Facebook page. She was 83. #CNN #News
She wouldn't be beaten down by a man. She wouldn't be beaten down by Society . She wouldn't be beaten down because she was a woman . She survived life by giving us all the love and talent she could . We were fortunate to have known her. RIP lovely lady. She was "Simply The Best!!" 💙🙏
she also refused to be beaten down by the united states, so she wisely renounced her citizenship to this craphole country. i always admired her for that!
@gow. A lot of Ukrainian women lived an iconic life . With more integrity than Tina ? I surmise this is the case. Let’s use Tina to deflect from the fiasco in Ukraine !! Sound good ?
Here I am 69 years old and can't stop crying over her passing. I didn't realize until I heard this news how deeply and profoundly she was so much a part of my life and I'm sure many others feel the same way.
@@johnstinson4026 I'm 64 and can't remember a time the 60s til now that there wasn't Tina Turner in it, grew up while she was here, so sad to heat of her passing, the Queen for sure...
Why? Ike dumped her for a reason. She never achieved the same level on her own. All she ever did was bad mouth the guy that created her. RIP in Switzerland since she renounced her US citizen ship.
@@camarocarl7130 Honestly! Truth is I never hear about Ike until looooong after I had heard and seen Tina. I my mind, she was waaayyy bigger than little Ike. Even after hearing about him, I never saw him on any large international stages. In fact, I've never seen him at all
@@victortakunda5443 Best of luck, they were indeed a talented couple that hit a few bumps in the road as far as marriage but seemed to come out better for it.
Strong woman, great performer with an incredible energy, who rose from being abused and victimized to become the generational legend of Rock and Roll that she was and will always be. What an incredible life she lived, and may she rest in peace.
you can not compare Beyonce to Tina. She was far greater in every way. She went through hell leaving with nothing else then her name. And she came out blazing and becoming the greatest singer and most loved entertainer in the world. Tina, you will be greatly missed. You truly were the best.
@@christopherp.hitchens3902 You totally missed it. steven F clearly means ALL THE PEOPLE THAT LOVED HER, WILL MISS HER. So obviously you are not among the people that loved her.
@@williingulfditlefsen669 - I liked Tina…but I did’t know her. How can you “love” someone you don’t know? I’ve noticed that this is a particularly American thing to do. To make celebrities equal to your own family…or, more important than your own family. Tina had her life…but some of her fans seem to have misplaced theirs.
@Gianluigi Buffon , that is the title given to her by her millions and millions of fans, by journalists, by Rolling Stone magazine, by The Rolling Stones legendary Mick Jagger, and countless other musicians, both famous and otherwise. Your comment doesn't change anything about Ms Turner and her status in the music world, in people's memories, or in our hearts.
@@Bobdylan11225 Sir , Neither this site, nor my comment is here for people to " catfish" or otherwise "chit chat".. I believe it's time to call individuals like you out for inappropriate behavior. Perhaps you should spend your energies elsewhere...🤷
I loved Tina so much, I'm crying so badly. Thank you for inspiring me to be at ease and strong as a woman and as a female performer! You were the best at this! 🙌
The personification of resilience... through authenticity... and power... generations of women (also in my family) had to suffer sexism, supression and suffocation through male arrogance and violence... when I was dancing to "The best" as a teenager I learned far more than rock'n'roll from this incredible woman... immeasurable Inspiration for many generations... thank you for everything, Tina!
I'm sure she was hated by many women as well! They didn't like to see her being stronger, more talented, more daring and being an independent sex symbol.
Believe me there are many tears here across the pond to the sad sad news over Tina's passing. I had the privilege of seeing Tina in Birmingham, England, and to say she blew the audience away is a massive understatement. How many of us can say we brought six decades of sheer joy to literally millions of people? Rest easy you magnificent, talented LEGEND. You deserve it and we all love you. Thankyou for the all the great times Tina Turner. We will never see your like again. ❤
We're never as strong, as we are until we have to be. Never Do as much, unless the need we see. Only give our best, when we fail at mediocrity. We Love rather than hate when we admit we're one humanity. We always give more, when compassion moves our heart with unbridled generosity. We Become more of our potential when we are made to see, that clearly our minds can believe in unfathomable possibilities, while seizing every opportunity, here in lies one's destiny. More than our scars, higher than our stars, for in our flaws are what defines our features, they're uniquely ours, as human creatures. We can run faster than on our slowest day. Reason better, and thinking it through all the way, regardless which direction our emotions may sway. We can find our voice when speechless, our strong words with meekness and our Courage in weakness. Always patience not quickness. Silence for peace than loudness, quietness of fear, not hopeless, for time and effort are equally unbiased. We are more than the stories we're told, we're the one's we write, each page unfold. We are the sum of our Lies and truth, fantasy, fiction, faith, and myths, no matter how uncouth. These are what shape us, our lives lived is the proof. We can be more right than wrong. More just than judge. More godlike than unlike. Reflecting Sunlight in our darkest night. Providing refuge. Never more alive until we die within and begin again. A Human Ark Divine in our human spark. That's who we are, Who and what we can be, we can become. by Steven Gooden
ANNA BULLOCK- You are one of the very rare throughout the history of the human race that left an erasable legacy of inspirational entertainment and personal triumph. And was all done through hard work and dedication. Something that many people throughout the entire world should use as a positive example You have certainly earned your time from today on to Rest In Peace!! Thank you.
What can you say about this extraordinary woman that hasn't been said before. Her life spoke for itself through hardship, hard work, positivity, oozed more sex appeal than a volcano 🌋 "The longer I do it the better it gets" she wasn't kidding. Truly one of the greatest artists and singers of all time 🙏
Our Diva turned her light off. She was a great inspiration to our society; and she will be remembered through her tremendous legacy. May her soul rest in peace.🙏♥😇👑🏅🏆💐
Goodbye, Tina. A big thank you for the precious music you gave us. Your unforgettable voice will never be replaced, by no one. You were iconic and forever you will stay in our hearts. Glad having had the chance to live the same time you did, having seen you on stage, having danced to your unforgettable songs. You were Simply the Best. R.I.P. ✨💫🌟
I was blessed to work in a theatre about 1983. Right before her “Private Dancer” hit. For 2 weeks she performed, she was amazing! Every performance was electric and iconic. Not only incredible, but she was so kind to everyone in her path. There will never be another Tina Turner!
Thank you for sharing your experience about Tina Tuner. She will always be remembered for touching so many. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jg54EotTxd4.html
She's one of the ultimate superstars for me from my teens. The legends who were on the air and loved by millions worldwide when the internet was nonexistent let alone youtube or social media. Thankful for the memories. RIP 🙏
What a great loss ! I am heartbroken. I’m so happy I bought her records and cassette’s. I was also so happy when she got rid of Ike! She didn’t deserve the abuse that he put her through. She’ll be remembered forever . Rest In Peace sweetie and condolences to her Family and Friends! ❤️🙏🏻😢☹️
Tina was a force of nature with her voice & energy !she also was just a survivor of her personal & professional life!I never got tired of watching her dance moves! Rest in peace Tina!🙏
Very sad news. Tina is one of the greatest singers of all time. Nearly everyone knows her music. "Proud Mary", "Simply The Best" and "What's Love Got To Do With It" are 3 of the greatest songs of all time. She left a legacy we will never forget. This is a major loss. Rest in Peace, Tina. We will miss you. ❤
Don't Weep For Me in Sorrow but in Joy. To have lived and loved anything or anyone or been loved by anything or someone then you were given life's highest reward, the Gift of Love, for to have loved and been loved is no greater achievement. Love is too abundant to count, immeasurably measurless in it's reach, too wise to comprehend and yet infinitely finite in each experience. I've lived to sip tea with her and eat with her. I've walked and ran with her and sometimes just sat with her. Love wept with me and I with She. We laughed and fought, sometimes parted but always returned. Love loved in every situation whether poor or rich. In our pain or pleasure, disappointments or surprises. Love was loyal even when forgotten, near of far I always felt her heart and She mine. Loved showed up at times as a stranger, other times a friend and every now and then ,she was the enemy that once was. A family member or pet even. I heard her voice in the woo of the morning dove or the purr of a kitten. She sang to me in the melody of a song or spoke to me in the refrain of a poem. She told me many tales of past present and future and I told Her mine. We loss together and won. Our shared suffering only strengthened the bond that tied us. We rose from our ashes like a Phoenix and our chains freed us from our pride and humbled us. Thank you Love for every gaze in your eyes, every kiss and embrace. I got to pass you by and breathe your aroma, hear your voice and taste the fruit of your love. In any amount was more than my tea cup could hold. The moment was an eternity and I am grateful. Don't weep for me in Sorrow but in Joy, for I have tasted Love. We passed in both the light and night of Life. - Steven F Gooden -

So classy, mentioning her legs 60 minutes after her passing. Anything to add about her boobs, or cameltoe she sometimes displayed on stage? Damn, people!
This woman was a living legend. Amazing pipes and did one of my favorite James Bond songs of all time. I will miss her, but her music will continue to live on. What a woman.
Our lovely, gorgeous, GOD gifted, talented, Queen Of Rock/Roll!!!!! Lady Tina, you were an electrified, energetic, dynamic entertainer, who presented as " Simply The Best " We love you Tina.......Rest in paradise!!!!!!!!!!
Now I know why I've been binge watching her on YT; songs and touring concerts for the last 4 weeks. Guess my intuition. Long time friend invited me to Tina's 2009/2010 final world concert tour at age 70. What an amazing transformative experience! She was such a beautiful spirit and thought she'd live well into her 90s. Rest well doll and fly free, your music lives on 😢🌹 Erwin, my condolences xx
