When I'm done playing WOW with my Tauren. I'll return to camp Narache, the place that saw me grow, I'll humble myself infront of the elders of my tribe, I'll remove all my gear for my tribe to use if the need calls for it. I'll /sit by the mesa, and watch Mulgore from the top; thinking on all that I have accomplished, because no matter what level we may be, at some point nobody will play wow, and I hope that in that forgotten Cyberspace somehwere in the future, my character will be forever watching over Mulgore.
Music like this is what really makes you realize that games aren't just entertainment, they're an expression of self. MMORPGs as a whole are set up to make you feel like any one person can make a huge difference, and after you've invested hundreds of hours into the game, you begin to realize that the person you're playing as isn't just a character anymore, but an extension of who you are, who you once were, and who you want to become. That person's name becomes one of yours, their attitude, even their appearance all add up to how you see yourself. That is why these are so addicting, to the point where you can hardly tell the difference between the game and real life.
I believe myself, that this song is a tribute to Cairne... a character that struck into people's heart already in warcraft three and through vanilla all the way to cataclysm.. I miss the old bull.. he was a nice chieftain..

+spamuel98 He challenged Garrosh Hellscream to single combat, for rights to lead the Horde (which would have been amazing). But the Grimtotems coated Garrosh's axe with a deadly poison and even though Cairne was winning the match, a small flesh wound from Garrosh was all it took to kill Cairne. Garrosh didn't know his axe was poisoned (he was at least honorable to traditions), but he was victorious due to this fact thus defending his position as Warchief.
This music give me chills ... I was roleplaying Tauren named Keig Thunderhorn. I was not dedicated to teach druidism , but instead i equiped my shield and mace and kept protecting animals,forests and Earthmother with my strength,toughness and agility. For the Earth Mother ! That is living definition of "The Noble Tauren"
I started practicing my native flute, and this is one of the first songs I will teach myself. I haven't forgotten Cairne. The tauren and Cairne were my favourite in Warcraft 3.
My God. Im sinking in my tears.. My first character was tauren hunter Zurgresh. I started WoW at the end of WotLK, in a few weeks before cata. I remember my excitement and i was like "i found a game that I was looking for". I spent about a day leveling in a starting zone (Red cloud mesa) because i was a newbee and i was just enjoying this world.. Damn it was 5 years ago.. *sigh* :_)
Daen Spirit Blaze I know what you're talking about. I spent a long time leveling up in the starting zone too because all I wanted was to enjoy this enormous and beautiful world. I still play with a similar spirit, I might add. But the wonder I felt in the beggining is something else entirely.

I started in early cataclisim, and my first character was a tauren male druid, and when i was questing with my friend, i heard that music. The feeeeelz man
When I started was late BC this song is so sad because it mostly plays in the Shimmering Deep, which was the Shimmering Flats apart of Thousand Needles I remember leveling there, and now I go back to see it flooded. Though I'm fine with how WoW is now nothing can beat the good old days
I remember my first character...A Tauren Priest named Toin. I started in Cataclysm. It was amazing... I still keep my character though, after 5 years. And now listening to this makes me nostaglic af. :")
Kyle Sibley That's because Kyle, the quest npc is an actual person who died of cancer (he was a kid whose wish was granted by Make A Wish to visit Blizzard) they gave him his own quest and npc and even let him voice act it!! People might think blizz as money grubbing jerks but they have hearts miles wide!!
Cairne was always one of my favourite characters in the game. So strong, courageous, loyal and noble yet he died from a terrible betrayal. Walk strong, Tauren.
The Tauren is the most beautiful race in all of Warcraft...I love walking across the plains as a hunter with my pet, and hearing this awesome song. I love the way taurens are noble and peaceful, I love the way how taurens look like, and I will miss Cairne, a true tauren, noble, courageous and peaceful tauren. R.I.P Cairne. Keep up Taurens.
This music makes me sad, I went and gave Greatmother Hawkwind a hug and said goodbye before she is gone forever. =( This music really catches the loss you feel for the Tauren and all the great leaders the lose in Cata.

Mein erster Char war ein Taure ich war im Startgebiet und jetzt 7 Jahre später gehe ich immer mal wieder zum Startgebiet zurück und Angel und höre dabei den Tollen Sound.... einfach tolles feeling für mich ist es das beste Volk aus ganz Wow
tauren have fought so hard for the beautiful lands that they reside in. there are peaceful people but when it comes to combat and backing up what they know they are there 100%. just like real life. its pretty hard to find people these days who have the courage and the strength to be like the bull. love the tauren.
Music is one of the most important parts of the game industry. Even at the beginning of this theme, my memories about first characters, first impressions came up and I realize how much I remember about that game, every corner of every location. Even though I don't play anymore, this game will be forever in my heart.
Living in Oklahoma, Arizona and Colorado, this song can make you have flashbacks of our own Native Americans. My dad used to listen to this type of music all the time. Its very reminiscent- and the tauren culture as well, to the plains natives like the Sioux and Cheyenne

out of all the places i've visited in azeroth, the tauren areas have always been my favorite. the music and the environment is more beautiful than any other place in the game, and the tauren are one of my favorite races as well.
I love how there is such an attachment that the gamers have for certain in-game characters. Cairne Bloodhoof, for example. He was, seemingly, not very noticed... Yet, when he died, there is clearly a sadness amongst us, almost as if we had lost a beloved member of the family.
I went to Cliffwalker Post in Stonetalon and was dumbstruck by this epic piece of music, especially during the confrontation between Chieftain Cliffwalker and General Greebo. So Calm and soothing.
I listened to many songs used ingame now since after patch. This song sometimes pop up in tauren village in Feralas. I must also say. I stand up and salute to the guy that created this beatiful piece of music. Makes me think about Cairne a lot. It is perfect and very calm to listen to while leveling sometimes. /salute
I LOVE the nomadic aura I feel in the tauren villages. I love how peaceful they are, how in tune with the land and nature they've been throughout their existence. But I just can't play one in game. They're too big!
I may be an Alliance player (and always will be), but I've always admired the Tauren. The peacefulness, the enviroment, and just about everything else about them.

I literally /kneel 'd my new tauren at the ruins of Camp Taurajo in the Barrens after disposing of all the looters, and this music came on and the tribal drums started beating. Talk about "capturing the spirit".

By far the tauren have always been my favorite race for a couple reasons: The ties to Native American culture, how much they've been through, and the fact that they still run strong after the greatest of them, Cairne, died. THE GLORY OF THE EARTH MOTHER GIVES OF STRENGTH!!

I've always sworn my allegiance and Pride to the Mighty Taurens as a Druid of the Earthmother. I salute to The Former Cairne and still Salute to Baine Bloodhoof.
Such deep, powerful music. Just the kind of awe and respect it fills me with...This and the sorrowful, almost broken feeling music of the night elves really leave me almost speechless. I have always held a powerul respect for the tauren. But this just takes me on to a much deeper level of who they are, as a people, as individuals, and as fellow beings.
Still after all this time, with how the story has changed and evolved the Tauren will always be my favourite race just because of how stoic snd awesome they were. How they were a truly honorable race who valued peace, prosperity and loyalty.
I still can't believe vanilla is gone. I can't. I was shocked when I came back to WoW after a year long hiatus in 2011. This is so sad. So many memories of low level questing. Rolled a Tauren Druid in 2007. You can still hear this in Thunder Cleft in Krasarang Wilds in Pandaria. I loved old Kalimdor - spent months questing there. I hope they never change Outland like they did with Azeroth - It's the only thing left for us to hold on to from old WoW.
Even though GW2 has outclassed WoW by far for me, I'll never forget the times I had with this game. Especially first time in Mulgore. It is said that music speaks in a tounge all it's own. To me, this speaks... Of nature and power, of an everlasting and unconditional tribal love, for we all are children in a way, children of the earth mother, forever walking in the eyes of the sun. We must never forget that.
As they moved far away from the center of Druidism and Arcane (the Well of Eternity, which became the Maelstrom) their skin started to change. Whether this was reallated to distance, lack of arcane, or whatever is unknown. they landed in a region called Quel'thalas, which includes the regions of Eversong Woods, Isle of Quel'danas, and the Ghostlands.
I've wondered into Mulegore, hearing the beautiful song of the elders from Thunder bluff, The cougers greeted me with a slight smile on there faces, the wolves greeting me every time i walk by... R.I.P Cairne Bloodholf...
This music reminds of of the quest: "To be Horde..." in Stonetalon Mountains since it played in the background the entire time (the one with the bomb). I love Cataclysm so far, the music, the new (much more involved) quests, the new environments, it all makes for an awesome expansion!
after over 6 years of wow it makes me so sad when this song plays in my playlist... i know the game is dead and i will never play it again.... reminds me of my beautiful Taurnes
