Happy these two got into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for Musical Excellence their impact on music is beyond what any producers had ever done! I hope others i look up to like Teddy Riley, Babyface, The Neptunes, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, & others will be recognized for their contributions in the Hall soon.

He sounded a little bit "blacker" when he was on The Breakfast Club. It's probably just unconscious, switching his dialect depending on the audience or perceived audience. I do the same thing and sometimes even absorb the accents of people I am hanging around.

What's interesting is that at no time do they ever acknowledge Prince is this interview. It was prince who secured the recording for the Time, the band in which both Jimmy and Terry started with.

@@frostyhkd I heard Jimmy Jam address this once and he said that he never viewed it as a firing, but rather a way of Prince liberating him and Terry to do their own thing. Jimmy said that it was like Prince being the mama bird who was kicking the baby birds out of the nest and saying, "You have your wings now, so go out and fly on your own."

Lawrence kitt The guys that ripped off TLC and its well documented, were none other than Antonio 'LA' Reid and Babyface/Kenneth Edmonds. Those old bastards took 90% of the proceeds same thing they did to Toni Braxston which bankrupt her to a great extent!!! Jimmy and Terry would never do such a thing to Janet or anyone else.
