They're actually a self producing group. Mostly the leader Soyeon who's also the rapper in K/DA. Check out Lion too, I think it's the best production from them.

@ClusterHopper Not really. Their company, Cube Entertainment, is planning on debuting idle but they can't because they don't have a song. Soyeon had to produce a song in a short period of time just for them to debut. They are also bashed for many things (one being Cultural Appropriation) in which many idols have to face.

Best thing that ever happened to G-IDLE was Soyeon and Miyeon lending their talents to KDA. Seriously, they were around mid-tier in Korea but they got a tremendous boost internationally thanks to that... and good for us too, getting to know them.

Me as well even in some of the 3rd & 2nd generation, nobody could be compare to her talent. I can remember LE of EXID to her because she does quite the same when she was still at the limelight & even wrote songs to other artist.

@@bread6052 just listen to her flow as I know you also don't understand or speak Korean like myself. But damn, Soyeon is just one of the best right now there in Korea girl or boy rappers. And, arguably the best among the woman rappers right now. She wouldn't be a member of K/DA & plays Akali if she isn't that great.

i listened to soyeons rap part and im thinking about how well she is able to change up her style when she moves to kda, its actually insane, like she can just change here personality and kind of turn into akali when she does kda, its almost like i cant connect the akali rap with soyeon, literally like akali rap and soyeon rap arent even the same person, its crazy

The whole song is about the conflict between loving a woman (being a woman) and religion by the end of the song they give in to temptation and thats why the video is so much darker than in the beggining theres a lot visual simbolism

I think you being focused on the music production is what sets you apart from other reactors. Some would just, to be honest, bullshit their way by using big words to make them sound smart and prolific. But you're a real music producer who says his honest opinions and tells us the truth. If you’re interested one day you can react to CLC! (I’d suggest songs as black dress, hobgoblin, helicopter, ME, or No) they’re from the same agency as G-idle (love them too) but are much less popular and currently having kind of a rough time ;(

(G)I-dle's leader which is Soyeon, produce this song too😍😍😍, and even some of the members like Minnie and Yuqi start participating in producing music as well😍😍😍 They're like a group on another higher level, I think Soyeon's raps in K/DA are like Americanize as it is really a song produce in a company in US I believe and when Soyeon raps in her group she raps in more like a Korean vibe raps hehehe that's what I observe I guess😊😊

Hey Joey! I know the song is not recent, but it is maybe THE most iconic kpop song from a music production perspective. I am of course talking about "I Got A Boy" by Girls Generation. This song made me interested in music theory and music production back in 2013 when it first came out. I would really love to hear your thoughts on it since that one song has influenced most of the kpop that you have reacted to so far. The music video is dope too :)

BTW Joey Minnie ( The First Girl you see dragged) is Thai. There in for her natural English affiliation is toward British rather than American. She is the one Singing First Oh My God. She's a Fluent English speaker so I doubt she would take multiple takes for that. As for hitting the tone that goes for pretty much any artist. Its harder for her to speak in American accent and as many of us Non natives learning English ,Most Schools tend to Teach British English rather than American. It is considered the root English. Not To mention the correlations of Thailand and the British Empire.
