I was excited to hear this song for a number of reasons..I never heard much of it! When I reacted to Episode 3, I'm pretty sure this played at the end and I didn't pay it much mind and DEFINITELY didn't mention anything about it in the Arcane reaction either. Regardless, here we are and let's break it down from a music production perspective...it's time to say GOODBYE!!!

cant even lie, i straight up cried when this song started playing at the end of episode 3. Arcane is one of the few things in relation to media (tv/shows/films/etc) that has ever actually gotten me to cry. the OST for Arcane was incredibly well done;

You probably recognized the eeriness from some part of the soundtracks on episode 3 near the end. But yeah, this enters right as it ends, and if fits so beautifully. Also the lyrics, when you think about it: "I can see a tear on my fathers face, before it falls out on my enemy. How could I have ever let you down?" and so on But yeah, aside from that, I came here to ask you to please also react to the soundtracks near the end of episode 3 called "Revenge" and "You're a Jinx", even though they're not "major" soundtracks (like Goodbye or Dirty Little Animals). Revenge is my personal favorite. It's just so perfect, it got stuck in my mind so deep I can recall the whole scene and all the emotion just by listening to it, it's so powerful. Ofc it's worth listening to all of it, honestly, like Guns for Hire and Someone Just Volunteered, but just wanted to bring attention to those other two, which are just amazing among those "non-major" soundtracks , and really elevate episode 3 to a whole new level

Oh damn, good suggestion! Been looping 'Revenge' so much for the past days, it just really hits you in the feels, it always makes me tear up because it replays everything that happened in that scene. Vander will always be one of my favorite characters ever. Hope Joey does it!

"You're a Jinx" in part even uses the same chord progression as "Goodbye". "Revenge" is another great piece from the score. I love both.

I think episode 3 could not have been as impactful without this song, the way this song matches the emotions happening in the ending scene is beautiful, for me this was the moment I realized this was gonna be one of the best shows ever and this song couldn't have played a better part on getting those feels out of me, thank you for reacting to this beauty!

During the "goodbye" refrain, the voice doubling is powder's mind fracturing, then deeper in the refrain, the two male vocals that join in are the phantom Mylo and Claggor voices saying goodbye as well.

Yeah, end credits song to episode 3. Needless to say that tragic little ending is what the song is about. On one level it's like Vi and Powder having to say goodbye to each other, but at a storytelling level and a firmer lyrical level it's them saying goodbye to their childhoods at this point, what with Vi being dragged off to prison and Powder going all Jinx on us.

I can't listen to this song without getting a little panic attack or atleast tearing up. Not just because of the context to episode 3 but because it hits on a personal level. It makes me feel things. And I can't handle that its a beautiful song nethertheless

I like how this song builds up in the beginning like it's going to have a drop, but her voice sounds very vulnerable and imperfect, which kind hints that instead of an epic drop we're just going to have something sad and pretty tame. Which builds up further then, but it's still the same thing, hammering in that sadness.

I just found this song, which led me to this video of yours. It was a blast watching you experience frisson. I am impressed by your ability to hear every note and practically give us a thesis on it. You really appreciate complex, high quality, beautiful music. I'm definitely going to watch your other reaction videos. I, too, love dissecting music and allowing myself to be enthralled by it. And within a few seconds of listening to you break down this song with such enthusiasm and skill, I thought, I would love to see his reaction to Jesse Cook. Spanish guitar world fusion (hard to describe his music) is probably not the typical music you seek out. Of all his pieces from a dozen albums, On Walks the Night is the one I recommend you listen to.

The song is played just before and during the credits of Episode 3 of arcane where the scene that just took place combined with the song just hits you like a melancholic truck, making you sympathize with the whole situation. Simply a masterpiece.

That's what's so amazing about the soundtrack. They didn't grab songs to fit with the show (which is what usually happens). They wrote songs specifically each scene that they put them into. I highly recommend the documentary "Bridging the Rift" if you haven't seen it already.

I watched the first 4 episodes of Arcane with my now ex girlfriend. 2.5 months later, after she ended our relationship, I still can't find the strength to finish the series. I heard this song in the end of ep3, didn't pay much attention back then, but now... oh boi, does it bring memories, my eyes are getting watery and yeah, hits straight into the feelings and heart. At the end of the episode, the camera zooms out slowly and starts to spiral while the edges fade to black, eating the last light of the fire into darkness. That, in combination with the lyrics, is so haunting. Saying goodbye to family, friends, life through death and separation. There aren't enough goodbyes in the world to cover that trauma and despair.
