I know what I wanted to ask you and maybe this will have you go try it out if you haven’t….but have you tried the TOMO LISA? Either in real life or the plug in alliance one? I seriously can’t believe how it makes my music feel like it’s tattooed to the recording after I’m done with it.

Your talks are always so soothing! Watching this while downing a cup of coffee and some pie after a looong week of work: I mix and master fulltime for my living, a bit too much demand atm. So sometimes I like to watch and listen to your videos because the way you talk and narrate is super soothing and welcome in this hectic ADHD world of yours. Sometimes I watch your vids just before sleep to mellow down. I've also been a producer/musicmaker since 1992 myself so I can relate to a lot that you show and say. Big up Tony! Greets from Finland.

I often seek other artists to collaborate to help break some cycles I get into as a solo artist. Most of the time other artists ignore me, but occasionally, I score and write something different, and the motivation to do my best work, (subjectively,) when other people are waiting for for you, and me, expecting them to have higher expectations of what I offer. $0,000.02

Getting past the "blank page" just do something, anything, so that there is something you can say "that needs to be more..." and then you can start working on it. Also remember that a simple thing done well is probably better than something clever and complicated done badly! Keep on truckin' :D

You are not alone Tony, there is a song that i have been producing since i think late 2022 and i think I am now finding a way around it. In this case, I think its because i made a classic and friom there came to this song which i love so much. I basically have become a victim of my own success because this one too must be as good as the classic or better and it was just stubborn about falling in place. But I keep telling her that she will not have the better of me!

Some days end up just updating plugins etc Maybe getting more samples or presets for Uhe stuff like Zebra and Diva. I use Battery for kicks and snares so I will build a new instance for my next project. Maybe a new convoluted track template I been dreaming up with verbs and delays on sends to try out later in the heat of battle. Maybe get some acapellas I like and re-tune them to different keys in melodyne. Many times I just play Sonic Couture's Hammersmith and lose myself for an hour. Playing piano and guitar just because is still my favorite after all these years. Cheers from Ontario Tony. Love the channel.

A good disconnect is sometimes a great thing I find. There is a time to connect and reach out also... Finding the middle ground is key and best served like you said... Not so much living in the past, however being present and finding inspiration in the most least expected places... Just make it the best adventure possible. I have always loved the quote "you're only as strong as your weakest link" 🔥👊🧡👍🔥
