I'm currently trying to learn the tin whistle from sheet music. Have you done a video explaining how to go from simple sheet music to making a song feel complete? Like I understand the base notes but not how to add ornamentation or the extra notes to make it go from the simple melody to a full song. Is there an improvisation element I'm missing?
Sean does some videos comparing tunes beginner. Intermediate advanced. I'm a beginner myself but have been to a few friendly sessions and it is improvisation. Add in ornaments if they feel right and fit. It is based on your skills. Where you breath in the tune etc. have you big lungs? 😁 No one plays the same. Have fun, try it and enjoy it.
