If you get an Embody or Aeron chair, get the right tracking wheels and then push the Embody with arms to move it. So push just the arms if you're not sitting on it, it will move easily. If you're sitting on it, it should move easily with the right carpet tracking wheels, there are a total of 3 wheels and 2 are good for carpet on the Embody.

Hey man, that’s a cool setup you have. Try rising your yamaha monitors a bit though. Having the tweeters on ear level should improve your sound a lot. Right now they’re just shooting at your shoulders.
I'm pretty sure that filling frames with foam does not help at all, unless you have a cat that taps on it or a subwoofer louder than manhatten but nice video and explanation of your gear. 😆👍

Clean and simple, I like it! I envy you guys with a "spare room" so much haha. The only thing I noticed, since you are taking care of acoustics and all that, why not put those yamahas to your ear height or angle them. Being nitpicky I know :D
This looks amazing! I love the wide display monitor. Unless you can blow through the poster and feel the air on the other side those foam panels are much better off being out somewhere else!

Lol. I remembered, we needed tons of equipment before we can say, "I have a music studio." NOW, you just buy a desk, a computer, a monitor, and a pair of speakers. DONE!! Wait a minute...it looks like it's my son's desk and other person too. LOL. Sorry. it's just funny.
low-end frequencies build up in corners, if you mix there it may sound a bit muddy, your better off moving the desk to the middle of the room and pulling it back to a third of the way down the room. Trust me, do a recording before and after, you'll hear it. another good way to tell where you should mix is to walk around the room and clap loudly. When you can't hear the echo as much, that's usually the spot you wanna go from
btw you can get universal roller wheels for your chairs off amazon. basically like rollerblade wheels that roll better on carpet, and they look cool....
Putting your desk closer isn't ideal, since for acoustics it's important to be same distance from both walls. And also since the nature light changes (it gets cloudy and dark), so you still need better interior lighting for that. Personally, I wouldn't sacrifice acoustics for lighting.
Dude, awesome job on the design and the quality of this video! It is sooooo chill and and very well organized! I am in the process of creating my studio in a designated room and its been a process over the past year and now I'm woking on the full time set up of the camera area for video! You have given me so much inspiration and I appreciate that so much! I love how minimum the design is and how the "gear" is the focal point! I am obsessed with the LED peace sign and the banana!!!! For anyone looking to get into Music Production under $100 I'd recommend AKG 361 and KPH40 (which I passionately recommend) for reference Headphones that could legitimately be your last nothing under $500 can compare to KPH40's. (I've spent $7000+ on audio gear and I trust the Audiophile community more than any music producer)
