My first listening to The Search by NF and watching the clip. Music in this video: NF - The Search: • NF - The Search Follow me on Instagram: / musicteacherreacts #NF #TheSearch #Reactionalysis
Thanks to everyone who recommended me listen to this. I had the pleasure of listening to it again straight after, and while I was editing this video. The meaning of the lyrics are so clear to me now and are so deep. I have created a playlist in anticipation to do more!! Thanks to those who recommended this
Indeed. Welcome brother. Enjoy the trip. I'll be along for the ride. EDIT: Just a tip. Start at the beginning. Start with Mansion, Therapy Session, Inception, The Search. NF ties it all together throughout his albums. To understand them all it's important to listen to his earlier work.
YESSS NF is so underrated. I've converted like 3 friends to being NF fans because I showed them one song tho. He gets compared to Eminem at my school. Eminem is a talented rapper, but I prefer NF cause his music helped me with things is struggle with/continue to struggle with. Just my opinion tho. Love NF 🖤
Hey man I think your trying to say over-reacting. Only saying this as some may read this as over eating and be confused so it may be best to edit the comment. :)
stickfigure -_- mmk i’m not here to judge anyone but real christians have got Jesus in their heart and a desire to serve Him with their lives. many choose to not curse because they want to clean their heart and show more love
@@TheMuserResolute there's corny/ popular rap, that makes ignorant spoiled white kids think their black, and there's real lyrical personal rap that has intense meaning, and takes talent rather than luck to make.
@@TheDanishPixl yesssss, I rly like finnally having intelegent conversations with people about this, rather than listing to people's one sided opinions all the time.
There is a whole journey. Some songs to start with: Intro, Mansion, Therapy Session, How Could You Leave Us, Let You Down, Remember This, If You Want Love, Real, Why, Leave Me Alone...just to get started. NF has a huge following and for a good reason.
"I'm into rap which tells a story, which is relatable, which has some kind of substance in its lyrics." NF Fans: *Takes seat, grabs popcorn and watch his mind gets blown with a smirk on our faces* "Ever seen a rapper walking around with a shopping cart and black balloons?"
The first time I discovered NF was when my best friend dragged me to “The Search” concert and it was the best concert I’ve ever been too (even though it poured down raining and we had to leave early) but ever since then he’s all I listen too.
I'm so jealous! I really hope I can go to one of his concerts one day. If he's going to have a concert in my country, nothing is stopping me to see it.
Mine was 5ish years ago at a Colorado Mission trip helping another church rebuild after it was destroyed in a storm, my youth pastor was playing “How could you leave us” and i just stopped what I was doing to listen to the lyrics, I ended up crying cause my story isn’t very different from his. I’m so glad my youth pastor opened that door for me, even if I no longer attend church
Oh my GOSH ... it's always such a joy to see someone else discover NF! "The Search" video/song was my first introduction to him as well. I've never looked back and continue to be awe-inspired by his talent & depth. Enjoy!
Probably the most authentic “1st time hearing” NF react I’ve seen. Your reaction played the perfect score to your video which mirrored the production value of the track you were enamored by. You just picked up another sub! I’m excited to follow your “NF journey”! Take the advice of all the fans flooding your channel. They will not steer you wrong. Nice work here!
Welcome to the NF fam. this isnt a rabbit hole, this is a worm hole to another dimension of an insane lyricist who builds on every song as a long story line with incredible theatrics. Buckle up, you're in for a ride.
Thank you! That's amazing to know that we can have such masterful rap without the profanity. I'm so looking forward to this journey, Thanks for taking your time to watch and comment!
@@starlord5032 Thanks! I've already made a playlist - albeit, with currently only 1 reaction, but the fact that there's a playlist means there'll 100% be more!
Here is the basic list to follow, if you haven't been sent one already...it has the storyline songs, his two radio songs and songs that tie into eachother. Mansion (album) - Intro - Mansion - All I have - Wake up - Notepad Therapy Session (album) - Intro 2 - Therapy session - I just wanna know - How could you leave us - Real - Oh lord Perception (album) - Intro 3 - Outcast - Let you down - Lie - Outro - No name (single) The Search (album) - Why - The search (cross out) - Change - Leave me alone - When I grow up - Nate - Time
If you enjoyed “The Search” make sure to listen to “Leave Me Alone” that is my favorite by NF and it is the song that continues the story of the search.
NF is my favourite rapper because of so many reasons. Like, his music itself is incredible, it's his own work and it's been worked out to fin exactly with his delivery. Then, there's his lyrics, because he's that one person that can put words on feelings and emotions and I can relate to that. I mean, I and many other people. Plus, the man doesn't curse, he's just so talented to curse. Then, his music videos are so well thought out. In "The Search" he says "I don't know if I'm making movies or music videos" because it's so true. There's so much symbolism in all of his music videos that he could create his own movie. Anyway, I'm so grateful that you enjoyed his music because he's incredible and I can't wait for you to listen to more !! Great reaction, and I agree with you on the fact that he leaves you speechless.
"Please be more.....", you sounded just like most NF fans when the Search dropped! You said you liked rap that told a story and meant something,.... well, you stumbled upon the best in my opinion!
"th-they are coming!!…" "What?, who's coming?" "I can hear their footsteps" "Yo, what are talking about?" "The FREAKING NF ARMY!!!! . They are about to raid lord 'Music Teacher Reacts' castle…" Me in the background: Ooooh sh@t, here we go again
NF is soul searching right now. Thats the whole idea behind this newest album. Fighting inner demons and just trying to keep his head on straight. Thats Real Music. And thats why we all love NF.
'Im into rap that tells a story, is relatable, and has some substance to its lyrics.' NF fans: 'That is literally the definition of NF. My man, you're in for a treat.'
His every song is something special for him. He writes about his life and things actually he is dealing with. In order to understand him, you should check out "Therapy Session".🥰
You can hear a lot of the Eminem influence in early NF (I'm talking his first EP Moments etc.) But his last several albums have been more and more his own voice and style.
His influence isn't like Eminem his influence is based of his thoughts of life and society and especially based off what he's been through and what he seen
I love how you are looking at nf (one of my absolute favorite artist) in awe, the way he performs, the way he switches his flow so seamlessly. He is by far one of the best artist I’ve ever came across and it makes me happy when others can feel what he is saying.
His level of skill in voice, visuals, etc is amazing. But one of the most satisfying things about his music is that he doesn't waste words. Every line is neck deep in meaning.
Yes yes pls do more. Love all of his work. He's an artist in his own lane, no cussing either, just amazing. He connects and weaves his songs together. You won't be dissapointed to take this journey. Enjoy the journey
I love watching NF react videos, but this one, by far has been my favorite. Your reactions are so real and wholesome. It reminds me of the first time I discovered NF. Once you know him, he's impossible to ignore.
Thank you so much for this. It is amazing watching someone react to this that has so much music knowledge. Please keep it up I'm about to binge all these!!!
Awesome reaction, you definitely need to do more of him! His story is amazing and if you enjoyed this one.. oh boy are you in for a ride because there are so many more just like this! 🔥🔥
Great reaction brother. Love seeing the raw emotions of someone just listening to him. Hope to see you on the journey. Keep you and your family safe and have a great holiday weekend
I have a music teacher who thinks rap isn't music :/ she also thinks that rock is bad, the only thing we do in class is analyze and sing Abba, aha and occasionally country music. She Whackkk
Thanks again!! I was absolutely blown away!! Glad you could experience it for the first time here :D Check out some of the comments, there are some great recommendations about the order in which to listen to his songs. Thanks so much again for your support!
When he said “please be more” I was like yeah me too man. NF is fire 🔥 Good reaction!! 🔥🔥🎸 Btw man I’ll see you when you get big, just wait you’re gonna hit like 10 million subs in like a few years
Hey mate, thanks so much for featuring this incredible artist. A few years back my teenage son was going through a very rough time in the form of depression/anxiety. NF was definitely someone who he felt he could relate to, and through that I to have become an avid listener! Thanks again👍🙏🏼
Great reaction man ..... the NF journey is well worth the time ..... BUT if you want to do it right you have to go back to intro 1 and do his songs in order they all connect and tell his story over 3 albums ..... I would love to be your guide though this but INTRO 1 is a MUST !!!!!
I absolutely love to watch someone's first reaction who's never heard NF before. He is so good and the stories he tells are so real and raw and relatable. Plus the guy is so talented and he does not swear! He doesn't rap about drugs, money and btches. He talks about real life and real struggles. He's my favorite lyricist for sure. (And that's what he is. Yes he is a rapper but he is a lyricist.) Well besides eminem cause nobody surpasses him but NF? Very close second. I haven't listened to a single song of his that I didn't immediately like.
