Music Theory for Beginners | Scales, Chords and Time 

I learned this the hard way, just by making beats and memorizing chords, this is really helpful and it saves a lot of time, good theory.

I love this number theory applied to the piano. I play the piano intermediate level but even I get confused learning the tradition way for some reason I can't explain but this just makes so much sense to me. its like a breathe of fresh air. everyone has different ways of understanding things.

I think it should be mentioned that the Chromatic scale was not arrived at simply at the whim of someones preferences, it is a standard that was evolved over many centuries that allows a collection of instruments to play together in a largely harmonious way. It's where physics meets music in a practical way. Music is like a physics and maths experiment all wrapped up into one beautiful thing! Kind of awesome :)

Just learn your scales people it’s not that hard. Don’t be afraid to grind for it. Then just extend basic cords into the scale and make them sound good and different every time
