Has anyone not enjoyed yet? Thank you guys for this song and the awesome play through video. I'm watching every reaction I can find, and it doesn't get old. All the best! I hope you guys come play Maxwell's in Waterloo Ontario before you get too big!!
Guys, so glad you like Unleash the Archers! I'm a 51 yr old metalhead, and I'm a full on fangirl!!! They have an amazing discography so far, and they are MUST SEE LIVE!!! Check out Cleanse the Bloodlines and Apex and Tonight we Ride - Oh! And Dreamcrusher!!! PS - Grant Truesdell is one of the amazing guitarists in Unleash the Archers 🤘🤘
I spent an hour chatting with these guys before one of their concerts. It was earlier in their career. They are realy down to earth people and very open with their fans. We actualy traveled together from the meet and greet to the concert so they could talk to the fans longer.
Totally agree. UTA is the best power metal band in the world right now. I'm just amazed this band has not millions of fans and millions of views. They're absolutelly astonishing!
@@XeoN-PL Agree, Agree, Agree!!! I think they need a better producer... They need to hire a weight producer, as Iron Maiden did when he hired Martin Birch
If fucking love this band. Their Brittany is amazing and their drummer is stupid tight. Everyone is fucking amazing in this band. Y'all should definitely react to Tonight We Ride by them.
this is the BEST Power/Speed Metall song i ever heard....and with my nearly 54 years of age i heared a lot of that stuff.....the throne of Blind Guardian is tumbling now ^^. Great reaction from you Guys...keep on going that way.I enjoyed this a lot.( and sorry for my bad english, its not my mothers tounge^^)
@@65Bardy i think it has old speed metal elements for sure! Especially in the drumming and this songs overall feel. But then again, discussions about bands/ songs subgenre classification, are as old as metal subgenres itself. Also the metal elitists side of me says, thats because metal is just the mose creative and expressive genre, alas the need for all the subgenres. ;)
UTA definitely takes alot from Maiden but no one brings up with this song in particular is the melody choices they made which are very different from the norm. Also the drums do the gallop instead of the bass. Brittany is an insane vocalist. Im a new fan and im all in as well.
the uplifting nature of all there music and yes especially here this is a power metal awakening rather nice one at that such a cool sound of galloping horses nice touch power metal in vancouver bc will is in good hands
In terms of style, this song reminds me of DragonForce, while Matriarch and Apex have an Iron Maiden feel -- so pick your poison! You're welcome. 🤘 By the way: As I've said in another video recently, the bassist, I believe, is using a "slap style" technique, where, instead of his fingers, he uses the thumb and part of the heel of his hand to "slap" the bass string as he plays it. The effect is, a very short, staccato note that is crisp in sound.
Take a look at "The Longing" by Storm Seeker. They are a pirate folk metal band from Germany, they have an EP out and are making an album that'll release in 2018!
The thing about vocal vibrato is that truly good singers will match their vibrato to the beats of a song. Those who are really good at it can go from one time to another over and over again. And Brittany brings it here and her vibrato matches the time signatures of the song. So there was never a reason for her vibrato to be quick.
If you liked how the video portrayed the song you should deffinitely check Between the Buried and Me "Extremophile Elite" (LIVE) at the Fidelitorium. Just the amount of work in the song and the detail it is shown with makes for a great video.
A little late to the party - I recently discovered this band and this song in particular... damn if this isn’t the best power metal I’ve heard since Edguy released Hellfire Club... Have you guys checked out Beast in Black’s debut from last year? If not can I suggest a reaction to the song “Blind and Frozen”? Cheers guys 🤘🏼
