This speaks leaps and bounds about your passion for music and your knowledge of music. I wish I could learn from you sir. Rahul is such a divine child. I see Lord Krishna in him. I bless him with all my heart and hope you and Rahul reach great heights and bring us exemplary music.

Sir, I am an atheist. But you two made me recall my childhood listening and singing these songs, how my parents and gurus used to call me Kanna and teach me with so much love and sincerity. And finally, I felt Krishna, after such a long time! I felt the love of Yashoda - the mother, the cheekiness, mischief and love of Krishna - the son, and the Bhagavad Gita which I still read and cherish. Thank you very much 🙏

From this lesson, I have gained a much deeper appreciation for carnatic music as a spiritual practice. I am crying tears of joy for this powerful inspiration.

I wish every student gets a Guru like Shri Kuldeep Pai - to what depths he goes about mentoring and preparing each naturally talented student can be felt and experienced in this video - you can call it as a small jhalak of the stupendous efforts that is exercised in presenting each of his student to the world - we can easily imagine and relate to the same. And due to this aspect only,we get totally mesmerised and feel blissful, each time one of his student renders any devotional song. At 4:10 what Kuldeep Sir explains about understanding the feels and emotion of the song rather than just singing the complex portions of a song is completely assimilated by Rahul. When I sing, I feel timelessness.... Sometimes when we do the work we like, we tend to forget time... Just like I did when I watched this video... 20 minutes just passed, I just now noticed it. This timelessness is a form of samadhi. When yogis are in samadhi, their body is disconnected with physical self and completely engrossed in the Supreme consciousness. That's what Kuldeep sir is saying (I believe). When we do the work we like, we are so engrossed in it, that hardwork and focus are just mere by products.... To truly forget ourself and just delve into the process..
