From Chili Klaus´ younger years - he plays When you´re smiling using a tenor and a soprano saw. By the way ... Piano Hans Esbjerg Sax Jan Kaspersen Bass Peter Vuust Drums Lars Wagner
Adds a whole new meaning to playing with yourself. Beautiful duet, beautiful videography, and looks like a perfect cut together of each part of the video and audio. Nicely done. Reminds me of another video where one guy did a quintet vocal. Love these types of videos and with my OCD looking for a break in the edit just adds to the enjoyment for me. Shadows changing outside of a window is usually the most noticeable "glitch in the Matrix". None noticed here, well done. Shooting at night really puts the give aways to rest.
Chili!?!! You look SO different without the beard! Awesome talent! Once again, thanks for the post! You are an awesome man :) Best wishes from ND, USA, Tony
Her sidder jeg og græder over hvor smukt det lyder og opdager sidst i sangen, at det er fucking chili klaus der spiller! Stærkere end stærk chili, good job fam!
They used to use saws for sound effects in old sci fi, horror movies and tv shows in the 50s and 60s. They didn't have electronic synthesizers in those days.
I just saw the last episode you did on hot ones and looked for your Chanel. I didn’t know it was you with out your beard!!! Awesome video. And I learned something new about you today. Greet work brother!!!
The right: how you feel knowing when you have a smaller saw than the man next to you The left: How you feel knowing your saw is bigger than the man next to you
You're damn right, sir. I've been a Sawyer for more than 10 years and have just begun to sound like something other than a mangled cat. @That Guy: It's one of the easiest instruments in the world to play; and one of the hardest to master. If you doubt me, friend, I urge you to pick one up. You may even be surprised at how fun it is...
you have to hit each tone without any markings. also this cannot be tuned. metal expands when it gets warm, so here the tunes are getting deeper. in e.g. a flute or clarinet or most instruments honestly, you can just make it shorter/longer to tune it. here you have to just hit it perfectly.
It's one man. But of all videos I've seen made like this, I most wish that there really was a band out there consisting of two identical, Jarvis-Cocker-dressed-as-Basil-Fawlty charming men playing musical saws.
D. Tysen ahaha i was only kidding because most people can't understand its only one person, (you i believe?). did do a great job though. And i look forward to more videos like this from you!
Watching this was bad enough. My liking it is just insane. Now I'm looking for my saw that's around here somewhere. The help I need is far above your pay grade. If you remember, please pray for me. Thanks.
it is, when you hold the saw in between your legs, strike the saw with a mallet/bow and wiggle your legs your get the impression of vibrato, it also helps keep the sound last longer
