I would love to see some classroom celebration videos you make with Google Photos!!! They are super easy to share too thanks to the built in sharing options with Photos!!
you all probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Greyson Kingsley Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Oh my goodness thank you!! Literally save my sanity. Ive tried for days dowloading apps trying to make a special video for my boyfriend. Cant believe it took me this long to figure it out! Real life saver!!
At the bottom of my Google photos menu on my phone it only has 3 things to choose from. On the left is "photos" In the middle is "search" And on the right is "library". The library does not have all of my albums or photos. When I click on search it brings up all kinds of stuff including the option to make a movie. But assistant is not available
Great resource! FYI- Create your own movie is currently only available for the App on mobile or tablet (I just spent way too long trying to figure this out on my laptop)
Thank You we have about 200 combined total of photos and videos of our Angel Delilah who just passed last week after 14 years. Will the program accept that much data? Thank You
Unfortunately it's limited still to 100mb and or 50 photos. I have suggested that large amounts of photos be broken into chunks and then upload to RU-vid and create a playlist and loop it. But that adds to the complexity.
I have photos in an album in the photos app, because they are scattered throughout my photos due to being taken throughout the school year. Is there a way to make a movie from a folder and not have to select individual photos? I really appreciate your video--it is easy to follow. Thanks!
DU Recorder. I've played with several from the Google Play Store but right now that's the one I'm using. I like the features and how easy it is to get it up and running.
I was able to create the slideshow movie in my Google photos and save it. But when I go to RU-vid to download it does not show up in my videos to choose from
They updated the interface and yes - it's gone now. Although if you dig around you can still find it - but they are migrating that to Google Photos and so even if you find it, you may not be able to use it. It's a transition time I guess so your mileage may vary.
i downloaded the app on my desktop and the slideshow maker won't let me saved the pics i selected and it doesn't have "create your own" that you showed. i thought i saw something that said i could pay monthly. what does the paid service give me and can i fix my photos on the desktop?
Thank you. I was able to make movie. I put on Facebook and then it automatically added another movie that has nothing to do with me and I don’t want it added. How do I delete that?
I love this video. However, what if I have pictures on my desktop that I want to use for my movie on my Android phone that are not on my Google photos of my phone; how do I incorporate them so that I can use them? Also, if I set it up on my phone, will I be able to cast the slide show to a Smart TV or by using a casting device such as Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick? Pls. advise. Thanks! I am doing this for an at home memorial service for a loved one in our family who passed away. This is my first time doing it. So, I appreciate the help. Also, how many pictures can I use on the movie? What's the limit?
You can access Google Photos on the desktop and upload them all. Then they will be synced via the cloud to your phone. Yes, you can cast from your phone or download the video and load it elsewhere via the file. It's pretty flexible.
I dontnthink Google Photo offers this anymore. Must have changed it to a paid service. When I open the Google photo app it doesn't offer me the assistant anymore.
Like others in this reply stream, I can't find the "Select Photos and Videos" box. I'm working with a lab of Macbooks. So, is there a workaround solution for me and my students to create photo slideshows to music in Google Photos? I was using iMovie, but these are older computers and the quality of video produced degrades. I was really hoping I could use my Google Classroom and Google Photos to create projects. Any ideas?
Unfortunately, the custom video option is only on the mobile app right now. I'm not sure why Google decided to give the more customizable features to the app exclusively.
I think I am doing every thing that you have done and every time i hit Create. It tries to do the create and in a min or so it come back and tell me it can NOT Create my movie. WHY? please Help.. Thank you
Nice video. I was looking for this help on Google..but how to share the movie with someone on Whatsapp? I created the movie and then clicked on Save button. I am not able to find my movie on Google photos now. ☹️ . I am on an Android phone.
@@jeffscorse99 It's still in the Android version, but seems to have been removed from the Web. Here is Google's support page on it: support.google.com/photos/answer/6128862
@@MrLeeTeaches This comment was super helpful. You might want to put that in the description above. I thought it had been removed (as I was using the desktop) then I did see it in the app. Thanks.
Typically, you don't get copyright strikes when posting on Facebook but I'm no expert on copyright law. You don't get charged royalties though typically you just get notified and at worse a take down request.
Make sure you're looking for the photos and videos in the mobile app. The web version still only gives you the options to do the themed photos movies - the android and iphone app gives you the option to make a custom video.
I need help. When I go to create a movie, the "select photos and videos" choice is not there. The only ones are the stock choices. How do I get the choice to select my own photos?
Thanks and duh. I asked my question before I saw that others asked and you answered. It's too bad we can't do this on our laptop/desktops. I'm puzzled as to "why" Google won't allow it. @@MrLeeTeaches
Thanks! Wish it was possible to do this quickly from an Album, instead of having to pick each picture from my entire list of photos. Am I missing something?
Animation is crap, all I wanted to do was screen shot ten news articles headlines to make a collage of the day and send it to someone. This task is impossible to do on messenger using the current version of google photos. I used to do it all the time until they took away the slide bar used to adjust the length of time for each frame if an animation. Using movie, the file is too big to use on messenger. All I want to do is share a video that the person receiving can play right inside of their messenger without opening links and moving to another location
If you do this on a computer, you do not see the option to select a Blank Movie. However, if you do it on your PHONE, then you do. Silly of Google to not offer that option in both places, but that's what I just uncovered trying to figure it out.
