What surprises in Valery is his ability to overstep his super-virtuoso talent and tame it in order to express his best as composer, without forgetting the use of brilliant melodic lines and moving musicality. Truly impressive when all this is done by a one-man-orchestra!!! :)
Two things....Unlike lots of multi-instrument artists who layer on layer until happy with the arrangement, he hears the entire finished arrangement before he starts the first track. And in spite of the two sections, and on every long composition, he never forgets where the motive is and so the transitions are so smooth that it just flows when he goes back to the original statement at the end. Dirty Loops has the same approach to transitions between completely different sections. Even using the very effective pauses, stops and changes in rhythmic patterns with both DL and VS it doesn't feel contrived or an excuse to do something different just to change it up so both artists do 7 to 9 minute pieces while keeping the listener interested in waiting to see what happens.
Hey! Thank you so much for react to this track. I love it so much! It makes me think: Be careful, a new track from valeriy stepanov will be released today. And I listened it before on Spotify and you will see, it's just amazing. Dont miss it!
For me, Valera is the most versatile and compact musician on this planet! "Long for you" now ranks among his best compositions, such as "Wish you could love me forever" and "All will be fine". Val is one of a kind!!!
Only one word to describer this: "Damn!" as said in the movie FRIDAY from Craig and Smokey. I notice he did not filter out the sound of the hammer hitting the strings in the piano towards the last part to the end. Great use of quit zones in the song. just added another dimension to the emotions.. 😂 ✌👍
He's in Oscar Peterson territory with his piano talent alone! Then there are his skills on guitar, bass, drums and anything else he puts his mind to! And we haven't even gotten to his song writing and musical production and technical skillsl which are all equally amazing! And on top of all that, he can sing very well! A musical superhuman!
Oh, I haven’t heard that one yet, either. What a beautiful soul he is💝💖💜🙏🏼✨ ….. this was sooo beautiful and emotional🥹🥹🥹🥰 …… and yes, thought the same thing, too, about it ending and then changing and continuing again ….. and … actually it makes sence …. I mean re. the title of the song ….. and how it can be. Absolutely beautiful💖. Thank you so much for this reaction, Jeff🫶🏼❤️🌲🎄✨🕯️🤗.
Song Alert! - - Jeff, you've got to hear 'A Sick Imagination' with Valeriy and yet again some incredible world class musicians. And who is the drummer?
If a person who can speak multiple languages (fluently) is called a ployglot… is a person who can play multiple instruments (fluently) an… Instruglot? Or polymentalist? 😂 🤔 Either way, is there anything this dude *can’t* play? 😂 I’d die to see a collab with him and Collier dude…! 🤯
after the many times watching this, I get it. He sneaked in tiny reference to some of the way cool musicians. You: "he's very blond" LOL Paul Shaffer in his very early day's would changed up each week on the show with all his crazy movements and outfits. LMAO
Pure bliss, as always from Valeriy. Please do not delay a reaction to the next ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H7gUeL_20PI.html. It's gonna blow yours and everyone's mind! 🤩
Can you please react why did you have to go from aurora it’s about a friend that died In a car accident and she sang this song once very emotional and a great reaction as always❤😢❤😢
Well, isn’t this interesting? I’ve watched his video many times since he put it out love the song beyond belief, but the more I listen to it within your reaction video the more fond of your version I get. Now it’s to the point if I want to hear the song I dial up your reaction instead of going to the original. Go figure Paisan!
