Angelina is timeless. My hope is that she continues to dust off these old songs for younger generations. These songs deserve to be heard and there is no better artist to sing them than Angelina.
I hope she will do so too! I just pray that the younger generation will understand and appreciate these timeless songs, and change the course of music back to a better character than most of today's suggestive and expletive-filled junk.

She has indeed a wonderful lower register! I think to remember you wanted to do Summertime from Norway got Talent? Skipping around is fun as well :-) So much to enjoy! She takes you back in time of stamp sized black and white TV’s. Very smooth and beautiful indeed. It was a duet she sang solo I think. I coined the word that she has a phonographic memory and also she probably played with lego a lot given the way she breaks down songs to their smallest bits and reassembles them again in some new and similar.

Great reaction to a great cover! The song is OK. I mean it's not one of the greatest song of this era but it was interpreted by Sinatra which helps a lot. And now by our barefoot Princess. You are right this song is the perfect song to demonstrate her lower register. She is so smooth and her phrasing is impeccable. AJ is more than a voice she is a complete artist. Like you said she has an incredible ear to catch and understand the nuances. But AJ's greatest quality for me is that she never "oversing" . She always respect the original in her own ways. Angelina Jordan epitomizes the word ARTIST. There is something about every cover AJ does, they always sound much better than you have ever experienced them in the past. It is more than remarkable; it is astonishing how she affects one's innermost being by drawing you in and holding you as you anticipate each heartwarming phrase. I grew up with Sinatra's music in the early 50s and on, and he sat the standard for the ultimate storyteller. About 2 years ago I stumbled across Angelina Jordan on the AGT Show, at the age of 13, and she has raised the bar that I did not think could ever be moved higher.
Angelina Jordan Astar is a perfectionist in whatever she does, there’s a video on RU-vid where she’s 5 years old and showing her dolls in her playroom and singing however what got me was when she got done with a toy she had a place for it and after showing it put in the same place, from there she proceeds to show you her bedroom and her two closets with her dresses, the point being even at 5 for her everything had a place. Fast forward to this video did you notice the hair and dress both are depicting the era in what she’s singing she does this in a lot of her performances, it’s almost like she’s channeling some sort of energy. I don’t know maybe her grandmother who not only a poet and artist has a masters in psychology might have something to do with it.
Angelina is a miracle of music! She is music as stated by one of the judges on Norway's got talent. Just blows me away every song I listen to, even when its a song I previously did not care for. She makes it beautiful!
Song originally introduced in a 1946 movie as a duet. Frank Sinatra first sang it in mid 60s and performed it often thereafter. His was almost certainly the version that inspired Angelina. I was born during WWII and every Mom in the 40s or 50s had a dress or blouse that looked like what she's wearing. The hairstyle is also classic for that post war era.

Wonderful reaction and I'm glad that you brought up Angelina's "Golden ear".The golden ear brings to mind producers such as Quincy Jones and David Foster.I wonder if one day she will produce albums for other artists,she is a perfectionist,but easy to work with,and has great taste in music,as well as knowing how to shape a song emotionally.
Angelina can make your jaw droop and make you cry. What makes this even more impressive is she is singing a DUET! I'm not sure many listeners realized that. How can she switch back and forth so immaculately and seamlessly?
Another masterpiece from Angelina. I'm not sure but as is typical, she might well be testing herself here, part of her self-directed vocal artistry education. She chooses a Sinatra-like tone but also somewhat like the duet version of Mamie Van Doren and Dennis Day, she sings both parts (high and low), just because she can! Stellar!

Hi Andy - dude you got it - Angelina shines and glowes in my opinion like the timeless miracle she is - classy but also very warm and human - no need to show off like a lot of other Girls you can see nowadays - she emotes so much love humbleness sweatness like no other Artist i can think of - and her music.... we all waiting for her to skyrocket the whole World soon but we have to be Patient and let her go on a bit below the Radar of most of the people until she decides to really start of... by the way do you know she is feeding poor and homeless people in LA - some Fan saw her backside a photo and started some digging into it - he postet that picture i saw it but forget where to find the link - as i have said many Times before Angelina is family to her Angels and we hold her very dear - at the last concert July 10. i saw her from a distance of maybe 3m and it was beyond... - 18 Songs but to short like all the time with her - i dont want it to end... cheers from a 58 year old fanboy from Germany

As you watch more of Angelina, you’ll continue to be amazed by her ability to inhabit different genres so effortlessly. The girl with incredible covers of Queen, Elvis, Elton, and Sinatra(s)we can just as easily see in front of a Glenn Miller orchestra giving us that smooth vintage big band voice and delivery-as you just saw. I don’t think you’ve watched Angelina do an Adele cover yet, and you need to prepare yourself for that. Adele is a great songwriter and singer, but somehow she writes songs that are perfect for Angelina. Angelina easily matches Adele’s emotion, but also you immediately hear the richness and resonance in her tone, as well as the endless textures of her voice that even great singers like Adele don’t have. Her recent cover of Adele’s Easy on Me is a masterclass in vocal artistry. But my favorite is probably Angelina at 12, with just a guitar accompaniment, giving us a jaw-dropping vocal interpretation of Adele’s A Million Years Ago. You’ve not heard acoustic Angelina, and it’s just stunning.

At 18 months, to be able to sing lyrics in not her native language, (even though not her native language, at 18 months, do any of us remember a language? Just saying, it is a true blessing to be able to witness the collection of gifts provided to we, Angel's, by Mery (her Grandmother), and Sara (her Mother). All the time, effort and beautiful love in this family just to make the world a better place. I guarantee you, Angelina and family are not about the money.
